Tl;dr: An SSD uses transistors and transistors use quantum tunnelling.
You'd be hard pressed to find anything electronic in your home that doesn't contain a transistor.

Romex.
Check mate.
Successful-Money4995@reddit
Romex is electric but not electronic.
Uno reverse.

Really? Electric cable is not electronic? Fine, I'll do two better.
So many home appliances either do not use or do not need transistors.
Garbage disposal, for example.
My electric stovetop only has dials and burners, no display, and no transistors.
My cheap vacuum is just a motor.
Oh, that's three. My bad
Successful-Money4995@reddit
I'd call all those electric and not electronic, too. Electronics is about transmitting information.
But anyway...
Your garbage disposal has a resetable fuse. I don't know if that includes a transistor but maybe.
Your stovetop has a temperature sensor. That signal might be amplified by a transistor.

Somebody's not a big Technology Connections fan. No, it's all eletro-mechanical. Essentially, there's a bimetal switch that the current runs thru before the burner that heats up and disconnects based on the position of the dial. A temp sensor and transistors would be way more complicated and expensive. To drive the point home, these stovetops were invented and mass produced way before the invention of the transistor.
Also, your definitelion of electronics is not quite right: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/electronic
Therefore a potentiometer is a simple electronic device. So a simple dimmer switch on the wall is eletronic and does not have transistors.
I'd argue that a switch is also a simple electronic device. Therefore every light switch is a transistorless device in your home.
Transistors, while ubiquitous, aren't required for an electronic device and many electronic devices were invented before transitors.

I suppose that it just depends what we call electronic.
The dimmer switch in a wall surely uses a triac and not just a potentiometer. But neither of those are transistors so okay, if you want to call that electronic, ya got me.

No but dude SSDs use quantum technology!!! You don’t get it!!!
