Why is he delivering a speech to ATC while sitting in the cockpit ?
Kooky-Hospital-7871@reddit
Probably some pr thing
3rd-party-intervener@reddit
It’s all pr for pak. To rub it in to their neighbors
Kooky-Hospital-7871@reddit
I mean it is something to be noted. Pakistan didn’t have good relations with either Iran or USA. So clearly they’re doing something rights

Not everything is abt rubbing to neighbors lol
OfficeZestyclose9952@reddit
I wouldn't be surprised if Mr. PM knew that his little speech was being recorded and that it will inevitably find its way through the internet. So yeah, free PR stunt.
Kooky-Hospital-7871@reddit
You wouldn’t be surprised if Mr pm could see a camera infront of him?
jon_targareyan@reddit
I mean it’s on camera lol

Haha … escorted by the same fighters his J-17s shot down last year
SillyLayer2526@reddit
i swear these guys have 1 point that gets repeated every single time this plane comes up , im not even indian and these comments piss me off , everytime a french plane is mentioned pakistanis spam 6-0 and actual comments get drowned out
NOOBFUNK@reddit
Pakistani spam is negligible compared to Indian copium. It got so bad during the war that most subreddits, including the Bangladeshi and Pakistani ones, had to significantly limit their posts. Even now the Pakistani subreddit is swarmed with a lot of vile opium which is even more prevalent in other subreddits.
While spam is bad, the continuing copium on the other end just makes it so much more enjoyable and hilarious!
SillyLayer2526@reddit
both sides have absolutely vile people, all posts related to india or about their air force instantly get comments and the same happens to the pakistanis as well. i dont get why indians dont just accept the loss and pakistanis deny the strikes on the bases , their fighting ruins the app for everyone
FastCar_5@reddit
You can just look at the numbers. Usually Indian spam is upvoted much and Pakistan span is downvoted much, the numbers don't even compare. Anything that's +ve abt Pakistan, will be full of negativity with Indian spam, it's usually not true the other way around. Any comment I make even within pak subs is viewed more by Indians than pak according to stats. I think the blame is also on the updated Reddit algos that read the context from comments as well now and bring in the engagement by pushing it ppls home pages.
However, I agree here, this guy didn't need to bring in jf17 to this convo.
SillyLayer2526@reddit
just from my experience on this sub and a few other, i cant speak for pakistani subs, but india hate is almost always upvoted more than anything positive about them , and i see more 6-0 comments than whatever the indian equivalent must be, i may be wrong and dont know how to spot indian spam but thats just my opinion
FastCar_5@reddit
It's all over this thread as well, anything negative about Pakistan is usually from private accounts or Indians linked ones. Even my comment was viewed more in India than in pak.
SillyLayer2526@reddit
almost the exact same for me
FastCar_5@reddit
Interesting, not sure how yours is equal when mine on the same thread are so different, is Reddit cooking up numbers lol
NOOBFUNK@reddit
It does ruin it for everyone else because it is petty. I must concede it just butchers a whole platform. I understand when someone opens r/aviation, he isn't seeing someone from two third-world competing countries going at it. Whenever I open any post mentioning Pakistan, 80% of the comments are just hatred, and we both know which country is behind that.
I'd recommend not engaging with these people, it is pretty evident they have time to waste. I had to unfollow a lot of subreddits because the spam got pretty bad.
SillyLayer2526@reddit
u cant just blame it on indians , ive seen enough pakistanis coping about the war that happened in the 70s as well and about the supposed strikes that happened in 2025. this comment thread itself is just proof that pakistanis also similar to indians just insert random nationalist bullshit wherever their countries are mentioned. another thing, its a bit unfair to pretend indians dont get hated on as well , they are currently experiencing a major campaign of hate from all sides against them and i feel thats a big reason why they are so quick to move into nationalist rhetoric because they feel the need to defend the country. open any comment on this sub also about india and u will see what im talking about , not denying it happens to you guys as well but just bringing attention to the racism both sides face.
NOOBFUNK@reddit
Hence why I conceded in my earlier reply that it's something mutual. With India's many fold more population more amplified on that side. I don't feel an obligation to defend any state just saying from my anecdotal experience to take these dogfights with a grain of salt. Have a good day and express your freedom of speech however you may wish.
Billgant@reddit
I’m not Pakistani. I am white American aviation fan. I’m not saying that to score points against anyone.
But it was the first time since the Vietnam war that a Chinese fighter shotdown a western fighter. And we’re gonna keep hearing about it for a while, whether we like it or not.
Welcome to the internet
New-Promotion-4696@reddit
Bro Iranians are shooting down stealth aircrafts with shoulder mounted Manpads, anything can happen in war, no one is surpised anymor
New-Promotion-4696@reddit
No one believes Pak propoganda on neutral forums bro
Billgant@reddit
That’s what US official said happened.
https://www.reuters.com/world/pakistans-chinese-made-jet-brought-down-two-indian-fighter-aircraft-us-officials-2025-05-08/With what ask mama buddy
New-Promotion-4696@reddit
Yes two, not 6-0, glad we agree on that part
As for Propoganda, its was J10C which shot down the single Rafale lost, not JF17
Billgant@reddit
Honestly I don’t care cause I’m not even Pakistani. Whether there was a J 10 or a J 17, it doesn’t matter to me. Even if only one Rafale was shot down, it’s fine by me. I don’t have any stake in this conflict.
But purely as an aviation fan, it was fascinating to see a Chinese fighter shootdown a NATO fighter for the first time since the Vietnam war.
NOOBFUNK@reddit
The fact that you're getting downvotes makes it more hilarious. A war loss during a suprise operation itself was pretty embarrassing, but the continuing copium just makes it so much more enjoyable.
Billgant@reddit
I’m an American and I don’t lean towards India or Pakistan. It’s what US official said happened:
https://www.reuters.com/world/pakistans-chinese-made-jet-brought-down-two-indian-fighter-aircraft-us-officials-2025-05-08/
New-Promotion-4696@reddit
Why is it embarrassing? Losses happen in war, USA has lost almost 25-30 planes and reaper drones in the Iran war and this is an Iran with no air force or air defence
SillyLayer2526@reddit
tbf it was not a surprise attack, i forgot what the terrorist attack was but it was obvious india was going to attack after that and if i remember correctly some government official even said it
NOOBFUNK@reddit
?
I guess I respect your opinions but I feel like our personal interpreations of the events do not dictate the fact that it was a surprise attack at nearly midnight. A lot of my college friends were living in the city of those strikes. The Indian military also used radar blackouts and issued false Notice to Airmen (NOTAMs) to mask its movements.
What you're likely saying is that this was not a surprise attack in a strategic sense, as India has followed a consistent pattern of retaliation, but the scale of retaliation and the initial disproportionate attacks on major cities with millions of people was a huge shock nationally given that Pakistan had agreed to an international probe a few days ago.
dw444@reddit
J-10. Only kill credited to the Jeff was a MiG-29.
So_47592@reddit
still much better than f22

Fuel for ‘PM’ plane is probably loaned by Qatar too😀😀

SillyLayer2526@reddit
scroll up to my original comment, idc who is downvoting who im just sick of the same overused talking points mentioned whenever this plane is mentioned
New-Promotion-4696@reddit
???
SillyLayer2526@reddit
just ignore its what pakistani accounts spam whenever the plane is mentioned as a reference to when they shot down an indian one in 2025
Daimbarboy@reddit
Genuine question (suppose this isn’t a PR stunt): what can a fighter jet actually do to escort a large civilian/cargo plane ?
Janoo-Slice-69@reddit
What watch is that
hashsohail1@reddit
Funny how this is an aviation page yet no one knows a plane can speak to another plane. Similar speeches are there with Pakistani PM being welcomed by Saudi Jets and they are replying back.
Here is a video clip of ACM Pakistan Sohail Aman on his farewell flight, Bombardier speaking to F-16s.
