Toyota Corolla Cross or Mazda CX-30?

Need to buy a car looking for a payment under $450/month. Small SUV or Sedan. I’m looking for reliable but also nice to drive. I’m good with buying used. I have also considered a hybrid. Done some research and have two options standing out to me. Any thoughts on Toyota Corolla Cross vs Mazda CX-30 or other recommendations?

You can probably get a newer (or new) cx-30 for that payment id you don't let them sell you on unnecessary items.

I was kinda shocked to see how expensive Toyota is now. It did seem like the CX-30 had better pricing.
