Buying a used car with accident history?

Hello, just want to preface im from vancouver canada.
I found a pretty good deal for a used mazda cx5 signature 2022 with only 25k km.
but the only thing is it has a insurance claim worth 3k CAD for front center collision.
I was told on the phone it was probably just a bumper damage, but wanted to get some insight on whether or not that is something I should be careful about? Is a 3k claim alot?
thanks.

Collision damage lower the value by a lot. Make sure u don't over pay even if 25k miles. With collision history those people lucky to even sell it at all. Also if u choose to resell it u guna make even lower cause of collision damage.

3k is not a lot and is probably just paint and panel replace.
If there are pics of the accident then that'd be great. If it's worth, get a 3rd party inspection done by a body shop.
