What is the best/easiest way to get to Wembley from Borehamwood?

Morning all. My partner, son and myself are off to Wembley this weekend for some football game. We’re staying in Borehamwood and I’m looking at what route to take to get to the arena.
I saw someone mention Asda parking in Wembley but that’s fully booked so I looked into Tesco parking at Harrow and there’s availability there.
So my question is, would it be better to drive to Harrow Tesco, and get the train in to Wembley or just get an Uber/taxi from Borehamwood direct to Wembley?
I’m guessing the Harrow option would be cheaper.
Also, since football isn’t my thing and I’ve been designated chaperone, what can I do round Wembley or the surrounding area to kill time while they’re at the match. I was thinking about hopping back on the train and heading to Kensington gardens for a wander. That doable in the timeframe?
Cheers

To kill time on Wembley i suggest the Londom Designer Outlet- mox of shops designer and regular and lots of eateries. Quite nice. It's only a few mins walk from Wembley park tube

Train to west Hempstead. Change there get the jubilee line to Wembley park.
Is your partner staying with you or the kid? 90 minutes of the game and 15 minutes half time. Get there 30 minutes or so before kick off and will take a bit to get out of the ground. If your partner is staying with the kid I would go directly into London if it's the two of you you don't have that much time but central London is 30 minutes away on the jubilee line.

Thanks Pisslord. Partner is staying with the boy

If I was in your shoes I'd go straight into London then and either meet up again in west Hampstead or borehamwood trying to find them outside Wembley at kicking out time even with tracking wouldn't be easy

The advantage of doing this for u/NovelHelicopter9522 is that they can just continue into Central London and do pretty much whatever they want, and perhaps meet their family again at West Hampstead after the match

Another option that hasn't been mentioned:
Bus, taxi or drive to Stanmore. Jubilee to Wembley Park. You stay on to go into Central (or change to Metropolitan line there for a faster journey in)

Not this season but they might make the playoff final so I'd say that's their best bet!

If you can fly that's what I would choose either fly or teleport there

Get the Citymapper app. Been in London for 17 years and still check it daily.

Practice.

I always park or cab it to Queensbury, and then it's two stops on the Jubilee line to Wembley. Never had a problem finding a parking spot on the surrounding streets.
