Coffee, soda, energy drinks, how many cups/cans of caffeinated beverages on any given day?
Bread9846@reddit
Usually 0. I am definitely in the minority lol
johnnyblaze-DHB@reddit
Team no caffeine rise up.
tygramynt@reddit
Im part of that team so here i am lol
ToxDocUSA@reddit
I try to save it for night shifts so that it works at a reasonable dose when I truly need it.
LeafyWolf@reddit
I drink a ton of decaf. Just enough caffeine to keep me going without keeping me up with anxiety for a week.
yescaman@reddit
I am about two months coffee-free. I am nearing 60 and feel it’s made a positive difference. Otherwise I don’t normally drink caffeine — the occasional coke or sweet tea.
MarqiMichelle@reddit
Same. My body can’t process caffeine so I go without it.
captainstormy@reddit
I'm I. That boat now. I had to get off caffeine for a month before a surgery once. The withdrawals were horrible. Once they were over though I felt so much better. My blood pressure was better, I slept better, and I found I was more alert during the day despite not having caffeine.
So even though I could have gotten back in it 30 days after surgery, I just never did.
I drink decaf coffee every morning (which technically does have like 1% of the caffeine still) because I actually like coffee. I drink decaf black tea, herbal teas, caffeine free sugar free sodas like root beer, orange, sprite, etc etc. I drink Kool aid made with Splenda, zero sugar Gatorade and sugar free lemonade.
So still plenty of options to drink.
PlutoniumBoss@reddit
Same here. It does bad things to me.
Bread9846@reddit
It actually does absolutely nothing to me. I used to drink energy drinks just for the taste but I stopped doing that
Free-Sherbet2206@reddit
Me too! Sometimes if I drink an energy drink at the right time (around 3 pm) I have enough energy to be productive after work
my_clever-name@reddit
Two to six cups of coffee each day. I drink the dark roast kind.
Dragosal@reddit
Between One to two 21oz soda
crunchyfoliage@reddit
I'm not a coffee person. I'll drink a monster a couple times a week, but I try to limit it

Currently getting 600 mg a day typically
rels83@reddit
4 shots of espresso, + some Diet Coke when I eat out
Such_Mortgage_1916@reddit
Anywhere from 400 - 800mg. Typically in pill form
hawffield@reddit
Lately, none. I mostly just think water. I will say that I often use the little water flavoring mixes and some of those have caffeine in it.
therin_88@reddit
200-300mg
Hybrid487@reddit
I usually have one cup of coffee in the morning and maybe a Coke Zero or unsweeted iced tea with lunch or dinner.
Individual_Corgi_576@reddit
1.5 to 2 L of Diet Coke per day.
gonyere@reddit
Most days I have a cup of coffee in the morning. And that's it. Rest of the day I drink water, and occasionally a bit of juice.
ToxDocUSA@reddit
Most days zero. Twoish days per week I will get fatigued enough in the afternoon to chew a piece of caffeine gum with about 100 mg. Maybe once a month or every other month I'll have only a couple hours of sleep (insomnia + being on call for work) and drink a Celsius with 200mg instead of the piece of gum.
elonmusktheturd22@reddit
None. I have never had energy drinks, coffee, or tea. I have not had soda in many years, except on very rare occasions i may partake of an orange soda, which they have no caffeine in them.
SplitOpenAndMelt420@reddit
All
taylorgrande@reddit
do you sleep? how many hours?
greatteachermichael@reddit
There is no blood in my veins. Only caffeine!
Cant-think-of-a-nam@reddit
Just one 20 oz cup of coffee in the morning from wawa
Number_Fluffy@reddit
I usually end up around the max of 400mg.
wieldymouse@reddit
None. I use to be a heavy consumer, but I stopped drinking soda and sweet tea, and can't stand coffee.
Elegant-Ad5705@reddit
3 cups of coffee and a C4
often_awkward@reddit
I turned out to be adult-diagnosed AuADHD so stimulants basically calm me down. That said, probably fractions of a kilogram.
gummibearhawk@reddit

often_awkward@reddit
What do you have after breakfast?
ghobbb@reddit

Quirky-Invite7664@reddit
1 cup of half-caf coffee in the early morning.
Humble-Tree1011@reddit
Is pistachio cold brew in season? If so, I sip all day. If not, maybe a sugar-free red bull’s worth.
I’m a basic bitch. Come at me.
MotherOf4Jedi1Sith@reddit
Probably too much
KayBear2@reddit
300-600 mgs
helikophis@reddit
About 1-1.5L tea made with 5-9g of dry tea, occasionally supplemented with 1 or 2 shots of espresso.
Mary_P914@reddit
Not as much as I used to. Maybe 45 oz a week.
ilovjedi@reddit
Not enough. I was drinking a quart of coffee a day (though with a lot of milk) so maybe three cups plus coffee or caffeinated soda. Sometimes more.
But now I have high blood pressure. (I had gestational hyper tension that never resolved even though I couldn’t stomach coffee while pregnant.) So I’ve cut down to two cups of coffee and I’ll be cutting back more. And now I have caffeine free diet soda and decaf tea.
blindside1@reddit
One 16 ounce cup of black drip coffee.
CasualVox@reddit
Between 600-800mg daily
ThrowawayMod1989@reddit
None. It’s the one drug I have no problem not doing. Last time I had any was because I got too deep on a kratom binge and couldn’t shit. That’s the only effect coffee has for me is “laxative.”
Crusoe15@reddit
Depends on the day, how much am I working? How many errands to I have to run in how small a space of time? How much sleep did I get!
classiest_trashiest@reddit
None. I’m on ADD meds so I can’t be double dipping 🤷🏼♀️
LeSkootch@reddit
I drink about 3/4 of a pot of coffee every day. Not all at once and I drink it iced. Usually one or two iced coffees before work, I bring one in a thermos for morning work sipping and then have one cup after dinner. I drink it black. Sleep like a baby, though. Caffeine doesn't get me wired.
Outlaw_Josie_Snails@reddit
I usually have one cup of coffee during the morning, especially during the winter.
If I'm home, I'll make a hot tea (green tea, oolong, etc.) and may have 2 to 3 small cups.
DesertWanderlust@reddit
Max 2 cups of coffee, and I cut myself off at noon. Any more or any later and I can't get to sleep that night.
kamakazi339@reddit
A ton of it
Trinx_@reddit
Work 3x 12s overnights a week. I drink 2-3 cans of diet coke during the shift. If I'm off work I usually have little to no caffeine unless I'm flipping my schedule. I used to have those controversial charged lemonades at panera - one large one per shift. Then I started having heart palpitations and decided to cut back. I was 34 at the time.
Poycicle@reddit
I drink one Celsius a day. That's 200mg
Grafakos@reddit

Winnipesaukee@reddit
5-10 cups of coffee a day.
Square-Friend-9219@reddit
About 20oz of coffee if it's not decaf. Caffeine only makes me feel that jitter of energy after taking a break from it. I make coffee just to dump creamer in it. Coke and Pepsi actually work better for me than coffee.
Independent-Dark-955@reddit
Until recently, one double espresso per day. I haven’t had any coffee for over a month though after a health issue. I don’t drink soda or energy drinks. I have been drinking a cup of black tea couple of times per week lately.

I have a very large cup that says "I don't sweat, I percolate!"
It's true.
I have no idea how much caffeine I consume, but I can drink an entire pot of coffee in the two hours before bedtime and still be asleep withing minutes of my head hitting the pillow.
meganemistake@reddit
Between 0-100mg i figure?
100mg is only if I have both coffee and soda in a day probably? I mostly drink water though
Lovemybee@reddit
I (64f) limit myself to one Mountain Dew (54 mg caffeine) per day. I have always loved Mountain Dew, but I didn't always limit my consumption!!! When I was younger, it didn't matter so much. Now that I'm an old lady, I can't take that much caffeine!
macoafi@reddit
A 2-cup moka pot. (That's an espresso-sized cup.)
kamasutures@reddit
Very low. I have not treated my body well with a history of heart issues and now we are paying for it.
g00berCat@reddit
I do mostly decaf but I pull a ristretto shot with caffeine most mornings. So about 60 mg a day. I used to drink 3 or 4 cups with caffeine a day but found out that I had a lot fewer migraines after I cut back. Happier gut too.
d3ut1tta@reddit
In my early 20s, I may have drank 1-2 coffee's a day and they were always an iced red eye (iced coffee + espresso shot) and maybe a milk tea here and there, but by my mid 20s, I developed caffeine sensitivity and switched to iced decaf Americanos. I'm currently pregnant and shouldn't really be consuming much caffeine, but am seemingly consuming more than my mid/late 20s.
whippersnapper123123@reddit
I used to drink like 10 cups of coffee a day but weaned myself off as I was getting insane headaches without it. Now, 0-2 caffeinated drinks a day.

Bear_necessities96@reddit
About 200-300 mg per day
Cinisajoy2@reddit
Somedays one cup of coffee or tea. Or none. Some days, more than that. Today had 3 cups of tea.
bjot@reddit
200mg mostly. Sometimes, ill have a coke zero also. But not always. I have one energy drink around 930 am. Ill rotate between celsius, alani or the kirkland cold brew coffee can. Today I got a grande Americano from Starbucks which has 3 shots of espresso. Idk what else they put in that drink but I was WIRED until noon. Felt like the come up on ecstasy but none of the euphoria.

KarmicWhiplash@reddit
Like half a pot of black coffee most days.

Electrical-Ad1288@reddit
2 or 3 homemade lattes a day
dajadf@reddit
2 16oz cups of coffee generally
flyingbarnswallow@reddit
I’m a grad student with poorly managed ADHD, so my caffeine consumption depends a lot on a lot of factors. Right now my baseline is 16oz coffee in the morning and a cup of green tea in the afternoon. At the end of last term my baseline was 32oz coffee, but I was occasionally going as high as 48oz of coffee and a canned Yerba mate. That was bad for me.
VirginiaLuthier@reddit
Lots
TehLoneWanderer101@reddit
At least 400mg.
I'm tolerant to it at this point lmao

Zero.
FolsgaardSE@reddit
I drink about 2 or 3 pots a day from morning till before sleep. I pretty much only drink coffee or water, but like orange juice for breakfast too sometimes.
river-running@reddit
400-ish mg. Aside from preventing morning headaches, it doesn't affect me at all. I could drink a Red Bull and then go to sleep.
Yes, I am considering getting evaluated for ADHD.

I'll drink a strong cup of coffee around 7:15 AM, and then another less strong cup around 2:15 PM, on most days. Sometimes if I go get breakfast tacos I'll get a Monster or a Rockstar, but usually it's just a cup of coffee I make at home.
seatownquilt-N-plant@reddit
If it is just a "coffee day" I think I ingest 80 - 100 mg caffeine. Usually just one coffee drink.

I can do a half cup of decaf, that's it.

SteampunkRobin@reddit

rosewalker42@reddit
Almost always zero. I am very sensitive to it. The worst part was restless leg syndrome. My comfort and sleep improved significantly when I gave it up. Sometimes I’ll get a soda at the movies or something not thinking about it, and always end up with regrets.
Strong_Landscape_333@reddit
Usually 0. I just drink a bit of alcohol. When I take a break from it I'll drink a few cups of coffee.

greetcloud@reddit
Two cups of tea worth.
zylpher@reddit
One Monster daily during my work week and I'm lucky if I finish it. The other 3/4 days I'm not drinking them.
