Quick question, do I need to start getting shape for WW3 or do y'all think the weather will be shaping up to be nuclear with a light breeze of drones?
isthereadrwho@reddit
I hope that after the midterms Congress gets involved and puts a stop to the silliness. You know what if you don't have ammo you don't go to war perfect solution to our problem. You can rearm slowly over the next 10 years I don't give us a break. Will be fine nobody's going to attack us
Doc891@reddit
so World War era level of production for a war that is small at the moment. Seems like either we are about to get news the war is expanding to a world war level, or they are hoping to make a ton of jobs and further cement our country's ownership to the military industrial complex and our chief export, war.
The only additional worry i can add to the predictions is that with AI being the hotshot of middle management, and not having a big enough robot/drone program, either the american blue collar sector is about to become a whole lot bigger for lower wages and no way out, or all those jobs that will make trump look good will be only be filled by a third party drone/robot maker that Trumps family has investment in and we will all be out in the trenches of WW3

I have a feeling it’ll be cw before we die in a desert for the Epstein freaks
Biggandwedge@reddit
It's war with Canada next. Gotta stop the midterms somehow
HelloImTheAntiChrist@reddit
Cuba or Russia or China...definitely not Canada.
WaffleHouseGladiator@reddit
This administration has made it's imperialist ambitions very clear. It may not be ground war with Iran, but the way the winds are blowing, I won't be surprised if the USA gets into a major conflict. These people are impulsive and entitled, a combo that often results in disaster.
lizardhistorian@reddit
Iran and North Korea are both criminal enterprises.
Russia backs Iran and Russia is preoccupied with its war in Ukraine making now the best time to hit Iran.
Iraq is still a democracy today.

Have you seen the technocrat map from 1940?
It's what they (likely) have planned for the near-ish future, if they manage to invade and conquer Canada, Greenland, Mexico, Cuba, and Panama they can control all vital trade routes in the region and also become downright impossible to invade.

Drone war.
AgeMysterious123@reddit
We’ve used a LOT of our missile stockpile over the last few months and the orders we had for 2026 to replace them all was way lower than what we’ve used. I highly recommend RealLifeLore on YT. He goes into a lot of info about the current U.S./Iran stuff and is just generally an awesome channel.
biobennett@reddit
He has extra content on nebula too
AgeMysterious123@reddit
Haha yep. I just mentioned that on another comment, but you were smart enough to add the link. Glad to see other people that like his stuff. Not surprised to see someone in this sub. 😂
PaintingOk8012@reddit
Great podcast Also available on Spotify. Lots of ads though.
AgeMysterious123@reddit
Oh good to know. He also has a channel on Nebula with a lot more content that isn’t super expensive.
FWIW: I’m not affiliated with him in anyway. I just think he provides really insightful content about the state of geo politic and military movements.
Worth-Original3825@reddit
Well, it's almost like Trump should've planned for an optional war no?
schmeillionaire@reddit
Definitely gonna check this out thank you!
BeautifulHindsight@reddit
But it's not a war. In order for the US to go to war the President MUST get PERMISSION from Congress. He did not do that.
MrD3a7h@reddit
Congress has abdicated that power.
Civil_Bench_3099@reddit
Not small by any measure. Used more precision guided weapons than any other wars. The air force utilization is comparable to Iraq. 3/4 carrier groups involved. Call that a small war is straight up MSM lie.

The answer is that Trump is an idiot and fired off 10 years worth of munitions to show off.
More interceptors were used in 3 weeks than during entire Ukraine war.

Ironically, Canada gets a lot of its weapons systems from the US, the same country threatening to invade and annex us.
mt6606@reddit
They were going Iran's way anyway, why not just drop them off along the way.... Lol
Das-Noob@reddit
Technically the DOD is supposed to get everything that they can from the US. Only time they’re allow to use foreign supply is if those are the only place thy can get them. Of course I’ve also heard there’s a department specifically made to get rid of the “made in china” tags and replace them with “made in USA” ones.
Wonderful-View-6366@reddit
Do you really think the navigational systems and the chips are domestically produced?!
Das-Noob@reddit
No. That’s why there’s an exemption mentioned in the 2nd sentence.

Fun_Journalist4199@reddit
I once spent an entire day taking apart air handling units (big box fans for hvac) and replacing “made in china” washers with “USA” washers from the same company.
When we ran out of “USA” washers I was told to start flipping the “made in china” washers over so they weren’t visible.

There are still factories in country, they've just been greatly diminished in number. If the government is seeking contracts, it's also possible this would prompt the building of new facilities.
FuzzzyRam@reddit
lol, are you being serious? Remember when he tried to open a Hyundai plant and then illegally tried to deport all the engineers? That isn't happening, and if it was, we'd be decades from full production... Let's not convince ourselves that a freedom-loving pipe dream is ever happening under an authoritarian regime...
KaliCalamity@reddit
Not sure where I said I completely believe it'll be fast or successful. I just stated a fact.
FuzzzyRam@reddit
Wow the trust in Trump long play, I'll try to respect it.
KaliCalamity@reddit

dittybopper_05H@reddit
If you don’t expressly condemn Trump in the most vigorous terms possible, that makes you MAGA to those with TDS.
It’s not possible to have a serious discussion of objective pluses and minuses of a particular policy with people like that, due to their Pavlovian reactions.
KaliCalamity@reddit

citizen42069101@reddit
Remember those battery plants we built during Biden?
The buildings are wide open and could be switched to manufacturing for anything.
The pipe infrastructure can be easily modified for whatever equipment and there's obviously a bunch of electrical infrastructure already.
Would make more sense than the big empty warehouses that don't have the utilities manufacturers need.
Business-Shoulder-42@reddit
Right, none of these folks are experts at manufacturing. The closest thing is Tesla and the factory itself is basically imported.

Repurpose the recently outsourced ones. Regenrate the local economy. Look good by creating jobs and making the old 1943 American war economy great again
scrandis@reddit
That's cute 30 years after we drove manufacturing out of the US.
FingerLickingticklin@reddit
Will we see America start treating women as equal ww2 style again soon? Or are they still just baby factories?
TheSensiblePrepper@reddit
Remember, Rosie the Riveter was just a propaganda campaign. Those women didn't have a choice in working in those factories.
My Grandmother and her Sisters were all told they either work in the factories or become Nurses. They were paid but it wasn't a choice.
Doc891@reddit
and after the war they were spit on and told to get back to the kitchen, regardless of how well they did.
Tha_Dude_Abidez@reddit
Lol! Do you have an evidence of this? Seriously, the women in the factories were "Spit on and told to get back in the kitchen" or are you simply pulling this completely out of your ass?

Hell getting paid a living wage, even if your forced to work, would be a big upgrade for lots of Americans
TheSensiblePrepper@reddit
Who said it was going to be a living wage?
dolphlaudanum@reddit
Manufacturing is considered skilled labor and generally is compensated reasonably well.
RandyLee2733@reddit

TheSensiblePrepper@reddit
Not when they can force people into doing it.
dashingsauce@reddit

Tha_Dude_Abidez@reddit
This settles it, WW3 and total war incoming. There's not a doubt in my mind we are about to see all out war with a draft.
uddane@reddit
Why do you think that all of a sudden they need to automate draft registration?
no_id_never@reddit
So, um, we don't have an approved war. How can we be chasing war powers act manufacturing takeovers when we aren't at war? Not to mention Congress hasn't approved funding to pay for new weapons production.

This is WWIII in the making undoubtedly now. Dual-use manufacturing to boost the economy on the path to scaled warfare.
Palantir & Anduril execs did a recent podcast ep where they single out exactly this capability as the missing element in US defense industry.
Not surprising to see inquiries.

The local Chrysler plant in my state constructed tanks for the US military in the 1950s and 1960s, and the former workers would tell fun stories about how they had to load them up with this crazy dangerous stuff and test out the flamethrowers, which looked amazing at night. All those workers got brain cancer and died early.

Some comments are worried this means WWIII. Use your brain, it’s stupider than that. The existing weapons firms are maxed on capacity and can’t expand.
True_Temporary6204@reddit
This doesn’t even make any sense? Genuinely their maxxed to the point where you wantYour top auto producers to switch entirely to making weapons?
Not coexisting entirely, it doesn’t make any sense. People try to rationalize everything that this administration is doing, and that’s how they’re getting away with this stuff.
