Lexus Mechanic Recommendations?
Posted by Upstairs-Status-2982@reddit | Dallas | View on Reddit | 14 comments
Just bought a 2001 Lexus LS430 Ultra Luxury and am looking for any reasonable Lexus mechanic recommendations in Dallas. I’ve typically used Sewell Lexus for my cars but can’t justify their $285 an hour labor rate for this particular car.
Thanks in advance 👍🏻

Davenport is good but not cheap, I don't think older Lexus's are all that complex to work on I would just find a reputable shop close to you.

Al’s Auto in Oak Cliff is the best. Honest and does great work. I used to take my 2008 Lexus RX300 to them up until I traded it in 2 years ago (almost 250K miles). There was nothing wrong with it but wanted to upgrade for an NX with more technology

Davenport’s labor rate is going to be close to Sewell’s I would say depends on what it needs - hardtop repair : Davenport or Sewell Suspension/Brakes/Motor - a good Toyota shop can do it.

285$ per hour. Shit I fix million dollar fire trucks and we charge 185 per hour.

I'll throw in a third recommendation for Davenport. It's an amazing shop for anything Lexus/Toyota.
