Remember when these were everywhere? This is one of those things I run across every few years, just thought you'd like to see it!

I loved those!! I don’t think I had one myself though.
Reminds me of the days of kangaroo shoes. Put my money for the payphone in those little pockets.

I haven't thought of those in decades! I swear everyone in my family had one.

I remember these. So neat.
Reminds me of the Garfield’s w suction cup feet in car windows.

Oh, as a huge Garfield fan I LOVED those, lol! But the landline phone with the eyes that opened and closed were the ultimate. I never had either!
moneypenny88@reddit
Me too! I had a little stuffed one and some books, that’s it. Loved me some Garfield.
PutABurbOnIt@reddit (OP)
Do you remember bow biters? I had me TWO Garfield sets of those, LMAO! Wish they were still around, 100% I'd still use them on special occasions!
moneypenny88@reddit
No I had to look those up. eBay is your friend. You can get them there.

My aunt loved Garfield

We still have these koalas from decades ago. We bought them as Christmas tree ornaments because we didn’t have a big budget for ornaments.
EntertainerNo4509@reddit
Was obsessed w these as a kid.
R86Reddit@reddit
Me too, along with rubber snakes.
EntertainerNo4509@reddit
Was seriously eyeing the rubber snake collection at the store recently.
DangerousLettuce1423@reddit
Still got mine - somewhere. Was given one early 80s when relatives visited home, then bought my own when I was over there in '88. Both grey iirc. Haven't seen them for ages.
LastCookie3448@reddit
It was SUCH a big deal.

I had a girlfriend when I was in fifth grade who loved the color pink and those Koalas. Her whole room was pink. And she had those koalas with her everywhere she went.
LBbird24@reddit
Just visited Australia and grabbed a pack of 20 of them. These are all thats left because everyone wanted them.
PutABurbOnIt@reddit (OP)
Awww, they're so cute as a pair! I bet your friends appreciated that :D

I can't remember when I got mine (or why), but he's still holding onto my desk lamp.
PutABurbOnIt@reddit (OP)
Desk lamp: that's where my brother had his! His was the kind that attached to the edge, with an articulating arm, like the Pixar logo. :)
feliciates@reddit
Holy shit. Memory unlocked. I had one of these on the strap of my book bag in college. Haven't thought of that in decades
hold--the--line@reddit

crone_Andre3000@reddit
I was obsessed with these - I may have to order one
loulou9284@reddit
OMG! I forgot about them! So adorable lol
Apprehensive-Jury437@reddit
Remember when there used to be stationary stores at the mall where you could buy these, or sample scribble some overpriced colored pen, or buy some Precious Moments figurines, or buy a day planner, or buy a calendar, or buy weird hanging crystal thingys to hang on your windows or rear view mirror, or buy those flex soft triangle shaped things to put on your pencil since they supposedly helped your hand feel more comfortable while writing with it?
PutABurbOnIt@reddit (OP)
YES! The kiosks in the mall that pop to mind for me are the multi-layer candles where they'd carve and peel back layers --- they were actually beautiful --- and Magic Eye posters!
First-Ad-7960@reddit
The Miracle Christmas pop up bars have little koala clips to garnish drinks and it makes me all nostalgic.
PutABurbOnIt@reddit (OP)
Huh! I've never heard of them, but I'll watch for it!

Hadn't thought about those in years but yea, everywhere all of a sudden it seemed. I didn't really need more reasons to be infatuated with those cute fuzzy murder machines.
