Home made Cream of Spinach soup. Everyone at work says it looks... Wrong.

I have been told (repeatedly) that my homemade cream of spinach soups are... "Unappetizing" to put it nicely.

the second pic looks ok

That one had double the amount of stock and cream than the first one. It didn't really have the "creamy" texture I was looking for, I might use more cream on the next one.
Still definitely fine tuning the recipe.

I think it's pretty unavoidable that it will look not-pretty, it's a blended soup with green stuff. I'd still eat it, but maybe it's not the best option for group gatherings like potlucks.

Yeah lmao I'm making this because I can get 10+ servings out of it for meal prepping not because it looks pretty!

It looks gritty did you break the cream sauce?
Second_Global@reddit (OP)
No the cream stays consistent even after freezing and reheating.

It's lumpy... Cream of whatever shouldn't be lumpy.

I add some extra vegetables afterwards. I've gotten pretty good at getting all of the spinach broken down with my immersion blender but it's not always perfect.

Never had it in soup form. Looks good

Its fine. Ignore the coworkers. Its probably healthier than any soup on store shelves
LukaIncic@reddit
No, it actually looks good

Immersion blender ffs.

It’s trying to escape out the side there

Id eat it but it does kind of look like primordial sludge or maybe a pot of that algae they scoop out of ponds.
