Does anyone conceal carry while riding, if so how?

Other non-gun considerations, perhaps in some combination:
A baton, spray, a taser, a siren, or a non-lethal firearm like a Byrna.

I keep bear mace already. 380 is is the back up
No_Inevitable4161@reddit
I have a little p238 that I just keep in a pocket holster. Never had any issues.
electricbikerider1@reddit
Hey look, I'm English so I'm not going to fully understand this but if I had to carry a gun to go cycling I'd probably either give it up or find somewhere else less violent to ride. But what do I know
Primary_Title7360@reddit
I don't live in the hood, so.. no
anonlite@reddit (OP)
or a major city apparently
Primary_Title7360@reddit
Tampa is pretty major
anonlite@reddit (OP)
Let me guess you are large old man, retired or close to it, living in the suburbs.
Primary_Title7360@reddit
34.. 164lbs Tampa is a city what else you got?
anonlite@reddit (OP)
So .. I’m correct. No one is taking a second look at you in public. I’m in midtown Atlanta - cost of living higher, I’m 110lb, 5’3 woman and I’m preparing for a ride downtown to the gulch. Some of us are adventures and some of us move to Tampa in our early 30s. And that’s ok
Primary_Title7360@reddit
idk but im turned on
anonlite@reddit (OP)
This why I need the gun
Primary_Title7360@reddit
or a therapist
anonlite@reddit (OP)
I’m good champ. I’ll stick to my .380

Tell me your American without saying your American
TopRepulsive4766@reddit
You can usually easily tell an American by their style of English and their differing measurement system.
They spell the step up from the street 'curb' instead of 'kerb'. They call the last letter of the alphabet 'zee' instead of 'zed'. They put Z's in place of S's. They also take out U's in various words.
They use the Fahrenheit temperature scale. And they use the Imperial measurement system.
I came from Canada to the US several years ago and I am still having problems with the differing English and measurement systems.
LazyRespect5457@reddit
Damn proud of it as well. My God given right to protect myself and I'm gonna use it.
Pleasant_Cicada9528@reddit
My American what?
anonlite@reddit (OP)
USA bb wouldn't have it any other way
PickleAlly@reddit
I wonder if British people mess up your and you’re.
DIYDIYMyDarlington@reddit
Not my American.
i_am_blacklite@reddit
No. People from most places in the world don’t carry guns on their person or their bike.
anonlite@reddit (OP)
Ah the luxury of being male annddd living in the middle of no where USA. Me, I'm a petite, blonde woman living and working in midtown Atlanta. Do me a favor and look up the name Lauren Bullis, asshat & enjoy your bliss.
ExtremeProfession113@reddit
Diamond D has chest holders. Unlike some of the standard stuff you will find in stores they have products designed for women. Big issue is concealed. I’ve never seen someone use them in a concealed manner. I’d suggested reaching out to them to ask about concealed option.
i_am_blacklite@reddit
You think I’m American? Couldn’t be further from that if you tried.
As I said, for most countries in the world it wouldn’t even be in a citizens comprehension to be carrying a gun. They just don’t exist in normal society.
We have the freedom not to be shot. And for our kids to not be shot at school.
anonlite@reddit (OP)
Bud I'm not thinking much about you. As a matter of fact it makes more sense you're from somewhere that's even more irrelevant. To be clear I'm here for amazon links not what ever this is. Also btw the United States is why you have 80% of everything you need to survive in life - so show a little gratitude. You would have nothing without the USA.

Most counties in the world? You must not travel much, Or all you do is vacation.
LazyRespect5457@reddit
Sounds like a shit way to live.
i_am_blacklite@reddit
But they have the freedom to be shot! Isn’t that great!
LazyRespect5457@reddit
It is great to be able to defend yourself.

Hip holster should be fine if it's something designed for performance, say running sitting etc comfort or something
anonlite@reddit (OP)
Ah...ok I tried my hip holster and just felt off. Maybe that's just specific to the holster I have and its not all hip holsters
Educational-Boot-579@reddit
I would suggest not putting it on your hip. If you wreck or fall on your weapon it becomes a focal point of impact and can easily break your hip. Happens a lot to bike messages who wear their bike chains around their waist. A gun would be a smaller percentage chance by why risk it.
a chest rig or a bag attached to the bike would be better choice.
anonlite@reddit (OP)
i saw your other post but thanks again. I also sometimes have a chain on my waste but will no longer be doing that and I'm settling on a bag.
JPBillingsgate@reddit
I don't. but if I did, it would be a compact in a waist pack.
benmooreben@reddit
You can put it in a hip bag or just carry it in a holster on your hip. Mine never gets in the way.

I have a hard top so this doesn’t happen. It’s made for a gun.
Educational-Boot-579@reddit
Up to you sir. But the hardness of the holster and the gun is what if landed on breaks you.
benmooreben@reddit
Been riding with mine for over 20 years. You have options and I choose this.
anonlite@reddit (OP)
thats valuable info - thank you
debian23@reddit
Wouldn't a sholder holster be another option too?
benmooreben@reddit
Of course. There’s a lot of options.
SkippyMitch@reddit
what's a hip bag?
benmooreben@reddit
A bag that straps to your leg that you can put a gun in.
1776WeThePeople@reddit
I always carry, I use a shoulder holster while riding any 2 wheeled vehicle
Temporary-Film-7374@reddit
you do have a prison wallet, right?

Holster on back & don’t ever have anything in the chamber because if you fall down, it’s up your butt.
anonlite@reddit (OP)
happy cake day btw
Hippiepope@reddit
I would think a good iwb at 4 o'clock would be perfect if you are wearing a baggy shirt that doesn't ride up
anonlite@reddit (OP)
thank you - I'm a lefy so I'll try this but at 8
1999Falcons@reddit
I'm Australian so no concealed carry or any handgun under any circumstances. I have a small ( 5 litre) backpack fuel tank and flame thrower. I have a diagnosed mental health issue in that I am triggered by pedestrian crossings . So l just light the fuckers up. Hand gun on your push bike , America is ruined beyond repair.
MesugakiBratTamer@reddit
Maybe, when I move to a red state
jabberwock777@reddit
Not while riding, but if I really wanted to I’d use the same rig I use hiking in the mountains. Hill people kit bag on the chest with the firearm inside in a kydex holster. Reasonably accessible and doesn’t instantly scream “firearm”.
Late_Response_5040@reddit
I recommend a backpack. Look at CCW backpacks. Eberlestock has good stuff. You can also put other valuables and bail out bag materials in it for any situation basically.
scifigirl1979@reddit
I carry a knife I have a license but I don’t carry ever
LazyRespect5457@reddit
I've carried in the basket but not on my person.
