Bucket list visit today. So many planes I’d never seen in person. KC-10 dwarfed everything. F-14 also much bigger than expected.

The walk from the cockpit to the ARO always reminded me how big Big Sexy really is. All the former KC-10 people miss her desperately, but I’m glad at least others get to go see her up close in museums

F14 bigger than expected: Yes. 10 men could do drill on the topside. And they flung them off of boats, fully loaded, and they flew!
