E-bike 40kph Dublin

Look for an e-bike that will comfortably do 40kph. I know 25 is the limit. Buts no takes any notice of that.

have a 50kmh capable ebike, drvetion ct20 for 1000 euro and I never go that fast. I like having range. You can not sustain 40 and go far

I bought in EU so I assumed it would ship to dublin. The large - sure, cool, but I have come to appreciate how it is lightweight with the small fat wheels. Somewhat.
Climbs hills excelently but would recommend to install torque arms.
Dont treat it rough, had a guy jump with it and it damaged the seat a bit

Speed pedelecs do up to 45 km/h legally. One of the brands that specialises in S-pedelecs is Stromer https://www.stromerbike.com/en absolutely fantastic bikes.

Yes they are expensive. GreenAer Mobility Ltd is the Stromer dealer in Dublin .

Oh that’s expensive, I have a Haibike I bought in greener 10 years ago, great bike but getting old now. Also I don’t like greenaer, they’ve really changed and shop is full of smart arses!

They're really expensive for an e-bike. I have an ST3, it's 8700 euro without suspension fork. I make money from it as every km to work I get compensated 37 cents. Otherwise I wouldn't have it.

You could always build one using a conversion kit and a hard tail mountain bike.
Throttle n charge has a good video on YouTube detailing what and how to chose your preferred components.
It’d cost you like 500, if you find a good deal on bikes n your kit.
