Recommendations for good inflatable queen-size mattress

Looking for recommendations on a good inflatable queen-size mattress. The plan is to use it for indoors only. Looking to use in case we need sleep accommodations and they run out of beds.

The authority is r/campinggear but to answer your question - without a doubt, the exped megat is the most comfortable and most durable mat out there. It is expensive, and worth it.

"They"....
My go-to for portable bedding is a 28" x 52" baby crib mattress and a folded up moving blanket (or whatever else comes to hand) under my feet.

If you expect that you will have some sort of power source, the air mattress they sell at Costco (I can verify exact brand when I'm home) is amazing. The catch is that it needs to stay plugged in, but it will constantly run the inflation fan at a low speed to prevent the air mattress from deflating. Best air mattress I've ever owned by far

https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B06XWG7H3S?th=1 Been quite happy with this one, I've owned 3 in my life, this is by far the best. 6'1" 200lbs and 5'2" 105lb couple for reference.

I’d recommend getting cots. As others have said, inflatable mattresses will only last for so long. The main cots I use are like 20 years old and I can’t find them online but I bought a few more basic foldable ones off Amazon a couple years ago for about $50 each and they’ve worked well.

Ivation EZ bed. We have a king and a queen for exactly this scenario.
Note that they do need power to inflate and deflate. Not an issue for us. Also, they do seem to get soggy after a while so plan on topping them off every few days. Very simple operation.
Finally, we have very nice mattress toppers for each one. Highly recommended.

Just like a working printer, I'm not sure a good inflatable bed is something that exists.

Whatever sleep number uses works. It's basically a air matress.
gonyere@reddit
It doesn't.

Get the taller ones, 18 or 24 inches off the ground. Pull blanket one floor, then mattress and bedding, helps insulate it. Lots of good brands out there.

Foam is bulkier but far more durable. The air ones will fail. I’ve even tried very expensive ones and they still failed me.
If you do want air for the compactness, then each person should have one of the self inflating camping mats. They are partially foam filled so that when they do deflate, they will still provide some level of comfort.

I've switched to foam pads + a woobie for backpacking because many of the self infalting camping mats all deflate anyway and they are quite a pain to pack up the next morning. The foam pad and woobie are also more versatile

Yeah, for backpacking I use the folding foam pads — forget the model, but it is like egg carton shaped and folds up into a rectangle.

Just buy some sleeping pads. Smaller, doesn't need inflated, doesn't deflate. You can pack it with you if you need to. No pump needed. Still useful with a hole in it
gonyere@reddit
None. They all suck.

I prefer futons

Whatever they have at Walmart

Of the one's Ive owned, the Coleman ones. They seem to hold up against folding and pets better than most.

Have tried many, and they all seem to work for a while, then slowly deflate.
