Should I be worried about my delay?

Just bought a gen 6 g45 and a bodyguard 2.0 at the same time as my first registered firearm purchases. I live in Texas and all of my previous guns were pre-owned private sales. I got a delay until the 21st and just want some reassurance that ill still get approved.

What's this "registered" you speak of?

From a dealer I window shop at frequently. Couldn't find a private seller for either one of the guns I wanted so had to go the ffl route. Unfortunately it would appear the boat im taking deep see fishing later this year may sink, but for now yes registered.

Registered as in you're doing a background check? I don't understand what's delaying you until the 21st in Texas of all places.

Yeah my background check got flagged because I bought 2 guns at once from the same ffl. I just wanna know if its something to be concerned about or not

No- but 21 days is weird to me.

No not 21 days. The 21st day of April. Like next Tuesday

NICS background checks have 3 business days to return an Approve or Deny so after that go ahead and call the FFL for your gun. No it's not something to be concerned about.
snippysniper@reddit
They are not required to transfer the gun after 3 days. It’s at the discretion of the ffl

They did say if it came back before then theyd call, but if i dont get a call then come in on the 21st to pick them up so that makes sense. Thank you
