I searched this question in previous posts but mine is a little different. If people with direct experience could chime in only please. What has been your experience traveling by air domestically in the U.S. with your ebike with the battery removed?

I ask because I see alot of airlines have a “non-motorized” bike policy, but I also hear of people traveling with their ebikes all the time with no issue at all, as long as the battery was removed.

I have friends who are driving who can transport my battery for me, but my concern is running into a major roadblock at the airport with a ticket agent potentially not allowing my bike bag on board.

What have been your experiences?
