Cases are subjective, there is no "best case" they dont generally add to your performance. You just need one with decent airflow which is 95% of them. Outside of that its how much you want to spend and your taste in style.

Remember they may or may not include fans as well which can drastically the change the cost.

Not really, most case fans are cheap, you can pick up a 3 pack of 120mm fans off amazon for 10$ its not really a concern, fan performance on the case itself isnt an issue, so long as there is some airflow the actual temps dont vary much from what kind of case fan you have.

It really depends on the case and the fans they go for.
Best case scenario, maybe you need a €5 rear exhaust fan. Worse still, it may need some obscure fan size or extreme quantity of fans. Worst case, they may choose expensive fans.
I've optimized many builds here by freeing up budget that way. Someone might have a £100 case + £75+ in fans, instead a £75 case with the needed fans could save say £100 for a CPU/GPU upgrade.
