Upgrading motherboard for the first time, how do I go about it?

I've recently decided to do a full build upgrade, yet I've never worked with motherboards before which is why I'm a tad bit overwhelmed.
My previous build:
i5-10400F CPU, ASUS PRIME B460M-A motherboard
My new build:
i5-14600K CPU, MSI B760 GAMING PLUS WIFI DDR4
(+ a new PSU, cooler and case)
Now I'm left wondering with a few questions:
-
Can I still use my old SSD (Samsung PM981) and HDD (Seagate Barracuda)? Upon research they seemed to be compatible, but I'm unsure.
-
I'm running a Windows 10 Home, do I need to reinstall? Or can I just plug in my SSD without issue? If not do I need to buy a new license?
-
Could anyone provide a tutorial/video on how to perform a motherboard upgrade and what to watch out for? Specifically the technical aspect of "bringing over" the OS.
Thank you in advance :)

You're not replacing the motherboard. You're building a whole new PC.

I suppose yes, but all my questions were motherboard specific which is why I've opted for the title.

Yes.
Not strictly necessary, but I always do.

yes
no. yes, usually. no, just sign into windows via your microsoft account before you change hardware. then, if windows deactivates, there's a button that says "i changed hardware recently". it should reactivate after a couple days
it's basically building a whole PC, so watch a tutorial on how to do that. removing your current motherboard is basically the same steps in reverse. https://youtu.be/9DXovN4Bn5o?si=hyHoFilL9Dgeiol-&t=540
