Have a favourite desk in your shared space office? At the end of the day unplug something like the monitor so when someone comes in they’ll think the station non functional. Most people don’t try to troubleshoot.

Is it a sit/stand desk? Lower the desk all the way down and unplug the motor. People will immediately see how low it is, try to adjust it and then leave when the control doesn’t work.

Plug it back in yourself and enjoy that window seat.
