Serious question….why would anyone pick this over an arc
Brad_FuddArms@reddit (OP)
Arc/super safeties can require gunsmithing to install and this is a whole trigger for the same price as an ARC which does not come with a full fcg. This is completely drop-in, the install takes minutes, it works in high shelf lowers, all direct impingement uppers and has a nice ≈4lb trigger pull. The reset action is also more robust as the reset force isn't concentrated to the corner of the trigger.
BMF300winmag@reddit
Would you happen to know if these fit high-shelf lowers?
The_Zenki@reddit
Reading his comment, it looks like they do not work at all with high shelf lowers. Darn.
Huge-Two-3358@reddit
Will this work on something like a PSA ARV?
CaptainAggie@reddit
I like mine
risengrind19@reddit
Hows semi on it? I have a single stage rave140 in 2 of my ARs, 1 would be getting this but I've heard they're like AK triggers where you dont really have a feel/long reset? I believe the ARCs work with raves maybe that would be better. Id rarely shoot in "full semi" so regular is most important.
wanderingtxsoul@reddit
In for one. Anything I should know about it?
JucheSuperSoldier01@reddit
It can be kinda gritty at first but it cleans up after a bit of use.
RoyalSteele@reddit
No problems so far? How much fitting is required?
CaptainAggie@reddit
None just need a heavy buffer.
RoyalSteele@reddit
So, consensus… with the money… right now?
NewCommunication1306@reddit
My only complaint with mine is the safety is just slightly loose. You can still tell when it’s in position and I’ve yet to bump it out of safe by accident but it lacks the click of a mil-spec
RoyalSteele@reddit
Would you be able to trim the inside portion of the safety to make it tighter? Or would they mean the safety would no longer be aligned with the interior parts and would therefore not function?
NewCommunication1306@reddit
Like the milspec detent is either just slightly too short or the shape of the detent is slightly too rounded. I feel like it should be a pretty easy fix but i haven’t tried to fix it yet.
fnisaac69@reddit
Yea my selector isn’t very tactile like on a milspec or Arc fire selector. No complaints performance wise, especially for a drop in system that just requires a heavier buffer to run.
Less_Adagio_1008@reddit
Is it possible to make this ambi?
open_enrollment@reddit
I think so, https://datummachine.com/
