I did my taxes all by myself and I only cried 4 times but I also had to pay a bunch of money so I do deserve a treat but I don’t have much money leftover. Please help I’m so tired

There’s an app called too good to go and you can basically buy left overs from restaurants that didn’t sell still good food and is usually pretty cheap. There’s also always little ceasers
MidnightRhinestone@reddit
Was about to recommend TGTG! Got over a dozen Dounuts for $7

Ummm an ice cream cone from McDonald’s, or a dessert from any fast food restaurant for that matter
elonzucks@reddit
It's a celebration. The cone is not enough. Make it a sundae!
redraider-102@reddit
Unfortunately, the McDonald’s ice cream machine is out of order.

Download any restaurant app that gives you a free birthday treat and just say your birthday is tomorrow. I got a free Arby's Jamocha shake that way.
Congrats on filing your own taxes. That would give me a nervous breakdown.
Disastrous_Pick2914@reddit (OP)
Very smart! And thank you. It was very confusing and I don’t think I’m able to use my critical thinking or math skills for the rest of the day
Patient_Doctor4480@reddit
I can relate. If I was now in your shoes after all you did, my executive functions would say to me, "Girl, please," for about a week.
FloressGurl@reddit
Too good to go!! About $6 for lots of sweet treats depending on ur area
nexea@reddit
So, the likelihood that it would be today is slim, but tongue in cheek ice cream puts out a list of names every day. If your name is there you get a free ice cream.
WrappingPaper_etsy@reddit
Use the app “too good to go”. They have pretty good deals and 90% of the Dallas map is all sweet treats.
It’s an app where you get discounted food that a restaurant couldn’t sell. So you pay ~$5 for $20 worth of items
NieBer2020@reddit
I got you.
Balancedmindset@reddit
Hit the dollar bins at Target…near the front doors…they usually have odd, cheap stuff that seems too good to pass up or walk the aisles of a Five Below or Dollar General. I’m sure you’ll find something worthwhile that you didn’t know was missing from your life 😂
Ill_Storm168@reddit
You can get dessert from Central Market for under $5.

I am asking for recommendations not for someone to buy me something

I feel ya!
My favorite treats are large coke from McDonald’s, chocolate Haagen Dazs pint (eat entire thing one sitting watching a favorite show) and InandOut burger with both grilled/cut onions with a LemonUp - lemonade w 7Up. Their fresh fries are excellent too!
Big hugs your way!

Here's a tip for next year. Free tax USA is free for w2 earners and is like turbo tax or any other paid service. It walks you through your return and is easy to use.

Both_Business_5582@reddit
I feel that. I have a few ideas, some better than others. 1) go to the doctor and grab a sucker they usually reserve for the kids 2) go to the clearance aisle at the store. There should be some old Easter candy there still. I got an $8 chocolate bar for $2 last week at Kroger. 3) Box of jello at the store is pretty cheap and easy to make. 4) Go to a friend's house and raid their sweet supplies
Nacho_Libre_0075@reddit
If you have T-Mobile, they have a few benefits available on the T-Life app. Like a KFC free chicken sandwich if you spend $1 or more.
Pangolinger@reddit
Check out your local library if you want a non-food treat? They not only have movies, music and books. Often they have activity kits, makers spaces, or other things you can check out.
It’s a good way to get out of the house for a bit, too. It sounds like you could use it.
Disastrous_Pick2914@reddit (OP)
I could! Thank you for the non food ideas!
