confused with AnythingLLM

I’m really curious why whenever I talk to it or use the keybind to communicate with it, it creates a completely new thread. They keep appearing and accumulating, any help or tips are appreciated!

Sorry, my bad, apparently I'd briefly lost the ability to read. ;)
So you're typing in the main window and instead of a multi-turn conversation, you're getting a new conversation each time? That shouldn't happen, obviously, it should only create it when you click 'new thread'.
Can't really help you there, especially since I don't use AnythingLLM (yeah, I know, reading the title. ;) ). Maybe check their issues https://github.com/Mintplex-Labs/anything-llm/issues, perhaps somebody else had something similar. Or open a new issue.

what do you use, any recommendations because i’m new to local llms I just want something nice and that I can use as I own a MacBook Pro with an M5 pro chip and 24 GB of RAM. idk much about these but it would be sick if i could have an ai that could click my screen and do cool stuff and work like google gemini, sorry for the paragraph lol
