I wonder when will Shitrael and The United States of Pedophiles will save these people? Unlike Iran who is 5 days, 3 months pregnant, 9 seconds, 3.4 hours away from a nuclear bomb as of 30 years, NK has nukes, and are a threat to the safety of Shitrael.

The reason North Korea is not being invaded is that they would pulverize Seoul with artillery
Magjee@reddit
Just plain old regular artillery fire is effectively a nuclear deterrent
For the Korean War the North had pushed all the way to the deep south before the allies joined and pushed them back close to the Chinese border
China only joined then and managed to set things back close to the pre-war borders
They also stand as a major deterrent to aggression against the North

Yup, nukes are overrated, because they're just spicy missiles
Magjee@reddit
Cant actually use them
Iran managed to generate a strong deterrent with just drones and conventional missiles hitting the Gulf States
It's enough of a threat that it made the strait uninsurable, outside of a toll
RoostasTowel@reddit
Well you can use them. It is ok to set off a nuke within your own territory
But the only way you won't get in too much trouble is if you use then defensively against an attackers within your own borders.

Nope, most North Korean artillery can't reach Seoul, only their heaviest rocket artillery can, a howitzer has roughly 30km of range.
The reason North Korea isn't invaded is because they have nukes

And cos they have China (and Russia). Both of whom also have nukes, although they won't even have to use them. They pushed the US back already there fine without them.

“North Korean Artillery can’t reach Seoul, only their artillery can”
Zemledeliye@reddit
Except they said they could flatten Seoul with artillery, which they can't because none of their systems except ballistic missiles and the heaviest derivates of the Uragan multiple rocket launcher can reach Seoul.
So no, most North Korean artillery can't touch Seoul, even if they park every howitzer and mortar they have right on the DMZ line.
The edge of Seoul is 60km from the DMZ line
BendicantMias@reddit (OP)
That was the reason before they got nukes. Now it's one of the reasons, along with nukes.
Although it's worth noting that North Korea would also be a nightmare to invade without either threat. Its terrain is also terrible to fight through, and ofc China (and Russia) will never allow it. They beat the US back already there, and that was before China became a superpower.
So no, North Korea can't be invaded. To use Trump terminology, they don't just have one, but several, trump cards.

Iran has been weeks away from having nuclear weapons since the early 90s. Yes, there are videos of Netanyahu saying this unironically.
there_is_no_spoon1@reddit
not just Satanyahu, but also US Congressmen, lying under oath, about nuclear weapons in Iran. THERE WERE NO WMDs in Iraq....and there are no nuclear weapons in Iran. As a nuclear physiscist, it's my job to tell you: IRAN DOES NOT HAVE NUCLEAR WEAPONS. The tech, the know-how to do so, these are not small nor ordinary things, like pipe-bombs. You don't have a fucking clue how complicated this is. Having Uranium DOES NOT EQUAL having a bomb. Like having a wire does not equal having a home. YOU DON'T GET how vastly different these things are.
