If anyone is here in the land and willing to help, please reach out to me, we need more bodies to ensure the students can get to school this week.
We can provide transportation as needed.

I went to creep on your other comments because i wanted to find out what the Israeli resistance was doing, and all I can say is dude, you are a fuckin legend. You also have an astonishing amount of patience.

Good luck.

I remember a week or two ago there was the news that Israel were pull back froces from Lebanon to deal with settler violence on the West Bank. Of course people used it to show how the IDF is a "moral army" and that settler violence is a marginal aspect of Israeli society that doesn't have popular support. I of course hate that I was right in my prediction that the new IDF troops were send there to support the settlers and to suppress Palestinians (as they always do).

tHe iSrAeLi aRe pEaCeFuL PeOpLe said the Zionists. In the real world, these terrorists are attacking children, and the Israeli are supporting these actions.

Maybe is because my country was the first country to abolish the army, but I never understood that phrase, any army is immoral by definition. It's like saying "I'm the kindest r4p1st" doubt you'll get any prize for that.
mrgoobster@reddit
Most nations are not in a geographic or geopolitical situation where they can abolish their armed forces entirely. A moral army is one that is purely defensive, IMO.
Additional_Ad_3530@reddit
Such army exists? Look at the US army they talk about preemptive strikes, that's just an euphemism for military aggression.
Rodonite@reddit
I won't claim my countries armed forces have never done anything wrong (also in terms of size their pretty insignificant on the world stage), but we're much closer example of what you're talking about than the US. Basically they only exist for defence and on UN peacekeeping missions. Using the American military as an example is hilarious. They're much closer to the Israeli army than to any hypothetical purely moral one.
Additional_Ad_3530@reddit
Yes, us army engages in lots of conflicts but as I'm aware the government had never admitted they were the aggressor party, there's always a excuse, so imo the concept of a moral army makes no sense, no modern military claims to be conquering force, is the same with the countries, every country claims they respect human rights, equality etc.
GreeboBirb@reddit
They're the most moral country in the world, so obviously their army is the most moral army in tehw world and their ethnic cleansings are the most moral ethnic cleansings in the world!
WestcoastAlex@reddit
they say that becasue those state\military actions get justified by their religion but then if you equate any of their state\military actions with the religion suddenly non-Jewish americans will scold you 'not all Jews'
ForeignEchoRevival@reddit
At this point in time supporting Israel reveals extreme moral weakness and lack of the most basic capacity for human empathy.
Israel supporters are a detriment to our entire species, hold us back with these justifications of stealing children's access to education and supporting violence used against them for the most peaceful form of protest possible...fucking sitting.
ScaryShadowx@reddit
It's very telling that so many people who claim they would have immediately gone against Germany are people who unconditionally support Israel. Throughout the 30s, there were plenty of people supporting Germany around the world, and people now are shocked at how they could do such a thing, yet we see the same thing on full display today.
Dogulol@reddit
they are jewish supremacists, thats their sole reason for being against the nazis
NotActuallyIraqi@reddit
Israel shoots unarmed protestors and criminalizes Palestinians trying to call attention to the oppression. When you ban nonviolent protest don’t be surprised if it leads to violence.
waiver@reddit
They banned political gatherings of more than 10 people.
Big_Red_Machine_1917@reddit
You know, many many years ago, I would have believe that some restrain would have been shown by Israel, or that at least the US would tell them to take a step back. Now, I have come to the conclusion that there is absolutely nothing these people can do that would earn them even a mid criticism from anyone with actual power.
Rodonite@reddit
In their minds this is restraint, it's probably one of the ways they justify it to themselves. The Palestinian people are completely at their mercy and they could do worse, they hold back so they can pretend to themselves and those abroad that this is anything less than unbound cruelty and hatred.
elihu@reddit
These sorts of things continue to remind me of Gul Dukat's statue monologue in Deep Space 9. (That's assuming that they even go through the moral gymnastics of justifying themselves and what they're doing.)

I’m sure Biden or Harris would have acted instantly and let Israel know, without any room for doubt, that Israel can have more tear gas canisters if they need them and the US will rush a special shipment through…

These kids would rather just be in school, but they can't get there.
