Seeing this poster around town gave me supreme anxiety even before the movie came out. Anyone else's parents just take them to R-rated stuff like this without question?

I saw the Exorcist when I was 7 years old.
That just how it was for GenX.

Damn, me too. You '66? And yet my dad noped out on taking me to "A Clockwork Orange" on opening day. Boo.

I was five, and my father picked me up for the weekends. I remember seeing Billy Jack, Dirty Harry, Diamonds Are Forever, and The French Connection all in 1971. I remember walking past the Hollywood Pacific Theater with him on my birthday weekend and A Clockwork Orange had just opened. We'd seen all these violent movies, and I liked the poster for it. He must've read the book, I don't know, but that was the hardest nope heard at the movies for me.

Not sure how old I was when I saw The Exorcists, but probably before I should have. I saw Friday the 13th when it came out on Showtime or HBO in 1981, I was 10. The only part that scared me was the jump scare at the end. I loved watching monster movies long before then, so it wasn't a big deal to me.

I mean I want to see this now

Skimmed through it earlier, all I remember was the ending: https://youtu.be/27yCV1hmqIA?si=i_LttOOKk2YQaHu-

Not watching if it’s a spoiler lol. I will find it in its entirety somehow, some way

It's the whole movie, from a decent print, too. No, I wouldn't spoil it. Watch from the beginning. It's better than I remembered.

For those of us who’ve seen real videos of pitbull attacks in horror, the final scene of dogs attacking the car seems kinda funny, almost a parody!

I saw the Shining when I was pretty much Danny’s age in the movie.

man, look at those teeth! Looks like that dog would hurt itself whenever it chewed on something.
But perfect for human flesh!!! Bwah hah ha ha

Never saw this flick, but when I see 'Dogs' as a title, I immediately think Pink Floyd.

Same, especially when it’s tagged 1977

Reminds me of a movie produced by a local filmmaker called Rottweiler 3D! The plot was a truck of military trained Rottweilers overturned in Lake Lure, NC and well things went to shit. It was about as good as you think it was.

Just watched the trailer. Lordy.
