Brake component grease?

Is there a specific brand of grease that I should be using for my car(manufacturer’s recommendation) or can I use any reliable 3rd party brake component grease? If so which brands are recommended for an Acura rdx?

Any major brand will work for the sliders it doesn't have to be "Acura/Honda" brand.. Because They don't make it, They just pay to have their name on it and they charge you more... Just like designer fashion put a fancy name on anything and charge whatever you want so people can say "I have X brand" Personally I prefer a good synthetic because it handles the heat and stress better.

Permatex is a good lubricant brand no?

Yes they are a major manufacturer, it should be just fine, but if you could find a brand that specializes in making lubricants that would be better IMO

Do slide pins and boots take a different type of grease or could they just be lubed with good old brake grease

Any good lightweight grease as long as it works well in hotter applications like a light bearing grease (you Don't want it so thin that it melts out and on the brakes)
