NAMC YS-11A, the only completely domestically designed and built Japanese airliner. The type first flew in 1962 and was produced until 1974 with 182 built.
9Y-TIH was built in 1968 as serial 2064, a model YS-11A-202, being delivered to Brazilian airline Cruzeiro do Sul as PP-CTH. Air Caribbean is where she eventually ended up, with the company folding in 2000 and the aircraft rotting away ever since.

a few type ratings ago we had an older gentleman with that type rating. I think he took a break from flying for a few decades and came back to be a sim instructor.
