You have a photo of mouse ps2 port?
To check the connection. The data and clock can be inverted.
Be care full of +5V and GND, if reverse you can release the magic smoke.
The connector/jack at side of big DIN is for keyboard (same of the big).
I think that's just an alternate keyboard port and not a PS/2 mouse port. I had one of these back in the day. Pick up an AT to PS/2 adapter if you have a PS/2 keyboard and just use the larger connector.

Sorry I should have added this : Pm8600 questions
So this board has both headers and a ps2 slot, but as you can see the case I wanna use it in doesn’t have a spot for that ps2 port.
I would prefer not to drill a hole in the case :(
I tried plug-in Into the headers however I cannot get a mouse to be recognized. Can someone help?

Actually it turned out to be a PS2 mouse port! I found a plug that works and switched the port in the bios to secondary
