Imagine white knighting for an airplane.
yaboijackan20184@reddit (OP)
What do you mean white knighting? Also yall seem to hate me. Should I have included some swears in my response to get my point across?
carrickshairline@reddit
You felt the need to take screenshots of this and post it because you got upset someone didn't agree with you.
yaboijackan20184@reddit (OP)
Wdym. From my point of view they were angry and acting as if I was stupid and the A359 wasn't a real plane. I'm not upset. I just thought this was one of those "Aviation experts" that always pop up for no reason.
carrickshairline@reddit
How old are you by the way?
yaboijackan20184@reddit (OP)
Why do I have to say? We are all told not to online. Why do so many people ask?
carrickshairline@reddit
Because usually it is only children that get upset over these things.
yaboijackan20184@reddit (OP)
As I've said, I'm not a child. If anything, the person in topic of this poet is due to using full caps instead of being civil abiutnit
carrickshairline@reddit
You get offended over things very easily, don't you?
yaboijackan20184@reddit (OP)
Tbf I do. Just me though.
carrickshairline@reddit
You should seek help
yaboijackan20184@reddit (OP)
Yeah probs.
ILikeFlyingMachines@reddit
Eh. Using the IATA codes is a douch smartass move as most people don't know them and they sometimes also don't make that much sense.
yaboijackan20184@reddit (OP)
You could just explain or sum?
Pocketz7@reddit
Personally hate the term A359 and such
yaboijackan20184@reddit (OP)
Why? I just like not having to say/type A350-900 every single time
Pocketz7@reddit
Personal preference
yaboijackan20184@reddit (OP)
OK I understand. Can someone like yourself explain why I'm getting so downvoted cause of this?
Pocketz7@reddit
Reddit be Reddit. I’m getting downvoted for having a personal preference 🤣
yaboijackan20184@reddit (OP)
Have my up votes lol
FMC_Speed@reddit
I don’t know about Airbus but in between Boeing crew cockpit or maintenance, the 738, 772, etc format is very common so much so that it’s in spoken conversations it’s normal to say it like that
imaguitarhero24@reddit
My gf is a flight attendant for AA and her trip assignments will use "738" etc
Korshtal@reddit
These are AA's internal equipment identifiers for different cabin layouts, mostly.
ILikeFlyingMachines@reddit
It's the official IATA aircraft codes
yaboijackan20184@reddit (OP)
IK! It's just convinient! It's stops people from asking "So what varient was it?" it's just pure convinience. Same effort, more detail.

It's about aviation though. Specifically the A359.
