Need help finding a good fan cooler for my build.

I built this PC Jan 2025 (first ever build) and have been very happy with it so far,
However, I sometimes notice my cpu temps get a little high for my liking, and the stock cooler im using gets quite loud, so im looking for a new one, that can work with a potential cpu upgrade in the future (one of the X3D's, not sure which yet.)
Parts I think are useful for this decision:
Lian Li Lancool 207 case, Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX mobo, Ryzen 5 7600 cpu, Corsair Vengeance 32gb DDR5 6000mhz ram (44mm,) PowerColor Hellhound 7900XT.
I was looking at the phantom spirit 120 se, but have read that with this specific ram, some people have to put the fan a bit higher to clear the ram... This scares me for some reason.
Even though I built this pc from scratch, im nervous about switching the cooler and getting the correct fitting. If anyone could offer any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Ideally dont want to spend over 70 pounds.
To reiterate, looking for a cpu fan cooler that will fit with my specs, is on the quiet side compared to the stock 7600 cooler, and can fit a potential future cpu upgrade to an X3D cpu (7800x3d/9800x3d.) Thanks

I'm using the Thermalright Royal Pretor 130 Ultra. It's a bit expensive (for a Thermalright air cooler), but it's cooling is excellent. I'm running a 12900KF, which has a max power draw of roughly 250W, and the cooler keeps it under control without any throttling. The Peerless Assassin or Phantom Spirit would also work fine for both your current CPU and upgrades.
I wouldn't worry about raising the front fan up a few mm to clear the ram, it's very simple. The coolers have little spring clips which sit on either end of the fan, and you just hold these clips while placing the front fan against the heatsink above the ram, and simply stretch the clips over the groove in the heatsink, and the tension will keep it in place. There are plenty of videos on this kind of thing. Your case has a CPU clearance height of 180mm, so a few extra mm of height on top of the ~160mm cooler won't be an issue at all, you'll have plenty of space.

Thermalright ps120 or pa120.
A more expensive and quieter option is just noctua coolers
