I got the $100 one at the camping section at Walmart, you keep it clean, it actually made my truck smell better, put in fabulouso and some of those RV toilet pods. Definitely makes those emergencies better

As a regular practice, this is extremely unsanitary. I’ve been teaming for 14+ years. I would rather use an acceptable public restroom where I can “hover” and then wash my hands with soap and water, than worry about how many poop splatters are hanging out in my truck that I prepare food in. I do have an emergency pee solution, as I am a middle-aged woman. But man….how are you gonna dispose of your daily duty? where you gonna wash your hands?

You use a portable toilet..you put two trash bags in the can..put your towel down on the bed..get two bowls of water..one to wash and rinse..use liquid soap and hand sanitizer to keep water disinfected..when your done..wipe your self..wipe again with wipes then wash yourself..dispose of the bag in a trash can..simple..everything is so nasty to y’all..I question if half of you are men (prob betas) or you’re really a trucker..this shouldn’t bother you

Oh, I do the same. I love fancy veg-based lavender bar soap. It rinses off quickly and stays dry in its holder on the dash. Started during Covid and now it’s nice to have when there’s just no bathroom. I see you have a better reason than the rest of us not to wanna use public spots. I was one of those guys that said that. One reason I won’t go OTR is because I’m not using a truck stop bathroom. I only used a truck stop bathroom one time and I rented a shower room just to go.

I’ve been local almost 6 years and I usually hold off until I’m home or I plan and use the cleanest bathroom on the route for the day.

Wow, I thought I was a germaphobe!!!! I remember crying on the first night of training/orientation because the hotel they had me in was iffy. (Dusty, handprints on the walls) I realized that night I had to suck it up and deal. Horse bedding wood pellets as a base with a scoop of pellets on top of your deposit works better than the gel packets. Just make sure the bag liner is strong enough to pull out the whole package when it’s time to toss.
