Characters/mascots for websites examples and good practicies

I am a graphical designer who learns website coding on the side I ready made a character for the website, but am unhappy with its lack of interactivity and usability. Are there any developers or websites (archived count too) where character have been used to guide the user and to stay in theme.

Your character probably needs more purpose than just decoration - like having it react to user actions or guide through specific workflows. I remember some old Microsoft Office assistants and even Duolingo's owl does this pretty well by giving feedback and staying contextually relevant
Maybe check how Discord handles their mascot integration or look at some educational sites where characters actually help with navigation instead of just sitting there

Will do research that thanks.

There is zero benefit in going private as you lose the opportunity for getting peer reviews. Also we have had plenty of people return after going private (despite being warned) complaining about how they were ghosted after some time or being tricked into buying rubbish that didn't work and even if it did they didn't need.
