BLAP BLAP
UserNameNotSure@reddit
These things and Arizona Ice Tea are the most price stable consumer products in America.
Not_an_alt_69_420@reddit
Tell that to all the stores around me that charge two Hi Points for a Hi Point.
Fearless-Jeweler-318@reddit
ironic since both of them have gone up in price
MisterMasterCyIinder@reddit
That's why I hedge with Costco hot dogs
Upbeat-Local-836@reddit
I’m gonna place the rotisserie chicken at 4.99 as the P320 equivalent. It’s either really tasty (great platform) or there’s blood in it (shoots on its own)
buffilosoljah42o@reddit
Arizona is still 99 cents.
TheHeroChronic@reddit
Not in the Midwest
buffilosoljah42o@reddit
That's just the business owner being an ass hole and marking it up.
gggg_4_l@reddit
Arizona is still 99¢. If you see it being sold for more somewhere you can technically report it
CaptBennett@reddit
Price is on the can tho.
Vijaywada@reddit
It went up by 9$
arethius@reddit
The Ruger 10/22 is also a stable inflation fighter (base model)
VoidUnknown315@reddit
You can just check under bridges and save the $109.99.
Les-Paul-1959@reddit
Underrated comment, although I "definitely have not done that".
Ajarns@reddit
I got mine from Sportsman’s Warehouse for $99 on a Black Friday deal in November of 2024. I had to add it to the collection because…why not! The texture on it is hideous, and someday I’ll actually take it to the range. Even at the $109 and FFL fees, would be acceptable to leave in the truck.
Black_Otter@reddit
Honestly, would one of these be adequate as a home defense weapon? Reliable enough?
10_96@reddit
If you take care of it and load it with reliable ammo it should be fine. If nothing else you can always throw it at them.
They're not comfortable to shoot IMO and I've seen many explosive malfunctions on the interwebs. FWIW I had the .40 version many years ago and sold it after shooting, literally, anything else. Cheap plastic, cheap metal, and I don't know whose hand they had in mind when they did the ergonomics but it wasn't mine. If it was all I had when something goes bump in the night though, it would probably do the trick. Too heavy to carry though, and holster selection is laughable. Highpoint pistols are basically memes.
It's triple the price (-ish) but I bought a SP2022 and never looked back.
Black_Otter@reddit
I’ve been leaning towards a CZ P10
HomersDonut1440@reddit
P10’s are solid as hell. Ive ran a p10F in competition for years and have had zero issues. Absolutely stellar.
TuringC0mplete@reddit
The CZ P10 C fucks. It’s an amazing starter gun (it was my first) and I still shoot it regularly. Great aftermarket support, great warranty, great support. Do it. Get the ported one if you’re feeling spicy.
10_96@reddit
CZ does good work. I don't like the texture on their grips, kinda digs into my hands when shooting a lot. They're solid and reliable though. I also, generally, prefer DA/SA. To each their own though.
drivesanm5@reddit
I bought one for $90 from sportsmans for the meme and it’s terrible. The trigger is god awful, the slide is heavy and I’ve had more FTFs than with every other gun I’ve owned combined. On top of that, it’s straight up not easy to shoot well and only holds 8 rounds. I understand the limitations of a $100 gun, but these are absolute junk. If someone is strapped for cash and looking for a good home defense gun, saving up another $50 or 100 and buying a used Maverick 88 is the way to go.
bubbathedesigner@reddit
Have you reached out to them? Their customer support is above everyone else
NickySoftshoes@reddit
Gotta tune those feed lips on the magazine too!
Black_Otter@reddit
Yeah….8 rounds …might as well gowith a revolver
drivesanm5@reddit
Speaking of revolvers, my $70 rough rider is an absolute joy to shoot
Achy-Grump@reddit
If you get one that has reliability issues, it’s almost always a bad magazine causing the problem. The guns usually work just fine.
simpleboo@reddit
I would not bet my life on a hipoint pistol. Had a lot of issues even getting it to cycle.
dustnbrewks@reddit
Yeah they’re reliable
bubbathedesigner@reddit
I dream of a day when we can have a Hi Point-only competition event
Recon2df@reddit
I say don’t let your memes be dreams. I kinda want to do this now I just need a hi point carbine and I’m set.
Dr_Trogdor@reddit
That'd be awesome. This, a Turkish shotgun and a keltec pistol carbine. It would be the three gun special Olympics.
Ehguyguy@reddit
I want this so bad, but paying for the transfer fee will kill me.
Excellent_Mall8819@reddit
Check your local pawn shops, can get a used one for $99
ComplexxToxin@reddit
Any local pond should have one for free
Excellent_Mall8819@reddit
😀
bubbathedesigner@reddit
Your ponds are fancier than mine. All I get is used syringes and empty PBR cans
big_guwop_1017soicy@reddit
Or for the difference of $10 and the FFL transfer you can avoid having a body on yo’ piece.
bubbathedesigner@reddit
You say that as if it is a bad thing
Begle1@reddit
I prefer guns with history though.
RonaldWRailgun@reddit
It's like buying only the best blood diamonds for my lady!
Underwater_Grilling@reddit
Seasoning
Excellent_Mall8819@reddit
$10 plus transfer fee and credit card fee, much better deal
shrumis@reddit
pawn shop special I think the signature makes it well worth $129
TuringC0mplete@reddit
Bruh same. This is a great deal and I want one for the meme but I’m not paying a transfer for this
bigfatround0@reddit
Is this the "new" version they released a couple years ago? I was actually hyped until they took forever to release it. What's the consensus on them?
i_dont_have_herpes@reddit
The “yeet cannon” versions have a threaded barrel and a front rail. They still have crap magazine capacity and the big heavy slide. Uncommon example of a fixed-barrel 9 mm handgun (no Nielsen device needed)
fam0usm0rtimer@reddit
No, this is the "classic"
2Drogdar2Furious@reddit
Better deal than the P320 from earlier 👀
Wojtkie@reddit
And this one wont sometimes go off when you shake it too hard. If anything, it'll only sometime go off when you pull the trigger!
Ancient-Lock2907@reddit
Since this is so hard to conceal, I'd just step up to the Hi Point JCP. It has a longer barrel, holds 3 extra rounds, and 40 cal ammo never runs out when people panic buy all the 9, 45, and 223.
40 would be my preffered caliber for the hi point carbine as well.
$400 pistol and rifle setup that share magazines!
Ancient-Lock2907@reddit
Even better, you can get the hi point combo in 10mm for about $450.
slightlyintangible@reddit
4 of these or 1 P320?
Mr_Koodle@reddit
They might as well print the price tag on the gun.
itwhiz100@reddit
Ah the BBL gun lol
ProlificParrot@reddit
No hundred dollar bill wrap, that’s a no from me
SeasonedAdManager@reddit
"Compact"
i_hate_ketchup777@reddit
at some point i’m going to be worn down enough to order one just for the meme
arethius@reddit
I'm waiting until I can find one of the ones with the dollars printed on it in the wild.
banesn14@reddit
I have one, it’s a laugh to pull out at the range.
Achy-Grump@reddit
Got mine from Kygunco
dontchaworryboutit@reddit
It’s worth the wait. Cuz at least you laugh when you see the dolladolla billz it in the safe.
DrNinjaPandaManEsq@reddit
Same here.
ShepardRTC@reddit
They actually do fire, and can hit a man-sized target at 25 yards
ThermosphericRah@reddit
Fucking inflation.
Hi-point =100$ is rule of law
UnhappyEnergy2268@reddit
The keltec of the keltecs
Clifton1979@reddit
They didn’t slap “roller delayed” on it and charge x8 the money. Take note Taurus!
ShepardRTC@reddit
I would 100% buy a roller-delayed HiPoint PCC made of unfinished iron that rusts in like 2 days
Clifton1979@reddit
1500 rounds a second … one time.
TJ_Auto@reddit
THIS IS MY GLOCK 40. THIS IS MY PROBLEM SOLVER RIGHT HERE.
DoctorVepr@reddit
1 high point for 1.09 high points seems like inflation
PapaNoffDeez@reddit
No dolla bill print no buy
FasterThanYourMom@reddit
A Hi-Point for less than 1.1 Hi-Points!
Quenz@reddit
Worth it.
