Recently bought an AK and it came with this red dot, the only marking it has is the the blue circle, I’ve never seen one like this. Anyone know what it is?

OKP-7, an interesting take by the Russians on reflex sights.
But it's probably not real though, those things have a loooooooong waiting list if you buy one from Russia.
On the other hand, I never actually saw anyone trying to make a replica version of the OKP-7, and I actually want one just for the fun tbh.

Sometime recently they showed up on Ebay from tons of sellers around $120~$150. Chinese copies all made in the same factory, probably similar quality to the real Russian ones (might literally be China producing them for Russia's war effort, and selling them on the side to the American public to fund it 😂)

Now that you mentioned it, a few years back, there were players asking the community whether they're interested in replica OKPs for their gelblasters, and I think it went through and they're now pumping it out as a product, might be one of those...

OKP-7, the one time the trash chinese copy is actually better than the original

OKP 7. Russia’s poor excuse for a reflex optic

Ebay OKP-7
Not real Russian made, rather a chinese copy. I have one and they're perfectly usable, just obviously not as durable as something more modern made by a reputable company.

It's a cheap Russian civilian optic.
But it's in tarkov, so...you might still have some loot on your hands.

OKP 7 I am not as familiar with Russian optics
