"No matter who you vote for, you get John McCain" is a political statement popularized by libertarian commentator Tom Woods, often referred to as "Woods' Law #3." It reflects the view that U.S. foreign policy remains consistently interventionist regardless of which candidate or party wins elections.

Put up a candidate worth voting for then.

Agreed but it’s not always going to be binary in terms of the perfect candidate for all the people all the time . A vote is often to stop the worse candidate like Trump.

As far as I’m concerned the only difference between the two right wing parties is one’s openly fascist and the other is in the closet fascist. Except neither does economic goals and takes care of their own so they don’t even have the best features of fascism just the worst impulses.

Both parties are far right as far as I’m concerned. Fascist for sure this administration and the Democrats are just there to keep out a real people’s alternative to it.
But all that being true, STILL not having Trump voted in would be incomparably better than whatever this hell is now.

Only 1 trillion? Anybody could tell you that without a Harvard Degree.
