Ruger doesn't fold up nearly as small as this SW, keltec folds up even smaller because the stock on this Ruger is bulky af. I gotta say my gen 3 sub 2000 has an outstanding trigger, it's butter smooth and about half the pull weight as the gen 2.

The FPC is very ergonomically challenged. I really thought I wanted a 10mm one until I handled one.

I've shot a friends FPC and so have a few others and we all loved it. So it's worth checking out for yourself if someone will let you try theirs.

The charging handle on the bottom is both hard to manipulate and it slightly bounces when you shoot, which wouldn't be a problem if it also wasn't where you index your face to shoot the damn thing.
The folding mechanism on mine was also extremely chintzy and didn't like to stay folded

The handle actually locks in forward position, but doesn’t say that on the actual handle. A bolt release would have been a great addition. It’s not super intuitive.

There’s still not really anything on the market that comes close to the Extar for the price afaik, maybe an FM9. Mine is almost boringly good. Dunno how all the major manufacturers are failing to compete on PCCs

Don't forget the Gen 3 SUB 2000 Multi-Mag.
It can be easily altered (with an Allen key and mag-specific adapter) to use Beretta 92, CZ75, M&P, P226, P320, S&W59, and Canik TP9-pattern mags, and I think it comes with the M&P kit by default.
And to clarify, this is the MULTI-MAG version, of which there is a Gen 3 now. Everyone knows the standard SUB 2000 uses Glock mags.
