I’ve heard that because of the light weight and straight line recoil, these things beat the shit out of the shooter. But for this price I’m almost willing to find out for myself

I sold mine after some hi-brass for one of my semi-autos made it into the mix. The only other guns that hurt more was a single shot 20g I was gifted that was like 2lbs (I also shouldered it wrong, was still young and learning) and my buddies ruger no.1-H in 375 H&H.

It's the only firearm I own that feels like it actually hates me.
A muzzle brake and a nice limbsaver goes a long way to making it not totally punishing.
Chambered for 3" shells, you'd have to be a real psycho to run them in this thing.

I put a big rubber butt pad on mine. Now I can shoot 8 rounds of 00 buck before I'm done instead of 4.

In my experience these suck.
Brother bought one, even with the shorty shells ( 1 3/4 iirc) they kick more than those 80 dollar single shots do with 2 3/4 inch shells. It also had about a 30% failure to fire rate on Winchester white box, and a 100% on some cheap buckshot I had brought with me. Only thing if would fire every time is wild 00 buck.
