You get a double stack with more capacity at the exact same length, a shorter grip, and only slightly wider.

G26 is the same capacity and is quite noticeably wider. It's like, 20% wider. In 2026 its just a bad carry when other options do it in a thinner package.

10 standard or 12 with the pinky extension, which does put it on the same height.
Handgun hero has it at only .15 inches wider than the 43x.
My 26 is definitely chunky, especially compared to my Bodyguard 2.0.

No reason to stick with 10 round magazines or a dollar store tier open emitter if you're going to try to deep conceal. Should at the very least have an EPS Carry and any of the (3 including Glock) types of 15 round flush magazines that are now (becoming) available.

The Glock mags didn't exist till like 3 weeks ago, and I'm sure some dept officers buy and use Shield/PSA mags but it's highly unlikely a department purchases outside of an OEM contract unless their buyer is really into guns.

I think in this case it was already highly unlikely the 43x was going to be selected and even more unlikely a PD would select Swampfox for a duty optic. So are we stacking probability? Certainly. But the pigs are already flying so now we're just waiting on hell to freeze over.

Probably an issued off duty. Quite a few departments that I know of in my area will issue officers an off duty gun in addition to a duty handgun and long gun. It makes a lot of sense to see the 43x as an off duty. In my department alone(no issued off duty); the most common off duty is the 43x, followed by Glock 19, 43, P365 and the M&P series.

I can see someone who is smaller stature bringing their own 43X (using any of the 15 round mags) with an EPSc/TLR 7 HLX. But the mixture of a very, very budget red dot, 10 round single stack 9mm in a small frame for MOST people is a bad combination.
I EDC a 34 or a Faux-land Special 17 and I cant imagine trying to fish out a 43x or a non-macro 365 from a duty holster.

No, not really.
Swampfox has a solid warranty and they use 7075 aluminum for their optics.
Ive got 5 mounted on pistols and i havent had any issues with any of them.

You could just buy a brand new one for basically this same price so it depends if you really value the night sights and want this particular optic (probably you don't). I guess you could flip the optic on the new GAFS but you're not looking at getting a lot back. Personally I'd just get a new one at this price point but you might save a few bucks buying used if you're reeeeeally tight on budget
