2020 broke my brain so I couldn’t get high without legit anxiety attacks. 2021 I figured I should get my CDL since it was the first time since high school I could pass a wiz quiz. In 2024 I had to stop drinking because I had become a nightly alcoholic.

I sure do miss the weekend toke.

Reminder: You’re drug tested after any and all accidents. And if you’re in a really bad accident (Fatal for example) police will request a blood draw. Even if the accident isn’t your fault, as soon as you show MJ in either urine/blood, the accident 100% becomes your fault and you’ll go to prison.

I feel you. It’s just a tricky game to play overall with MJ and trucking. I’ve known people to play both worlds (Like how you’re describing, only when off for a few days/week), but eventually they all end up getting caught in some way. Every SAP driver i’ve spoken with always goes the same (Positive result for MJ). And then it’s just a pain in the ass to even get back in the truck at that point, you might as well call it a career and find something else. IMO, not worth it. You’re better off finding another career unfortunately.

They don't typically do a drug test for just a dot exam but your company will definitely test you periodically because the DOT requires it.

The dipstick pee test is just testing for elevated proteins in your urine.

Now with that said, definitely hold off on it because it can and will get you fired.

Been driving almost 5years and I've come up for randoms 6 times.....it just AINT worth it. Have a beer after work, have a nice stiff drink on the weekend (if you local) if you need too. But after spending all the time or money on a Class A or B, why risk it?!.

There are tons of factors, you’re correct. But consuming a higher percent of thc doesn’t mean it’s moving out of your body that much slower. In terms of what your body is holding on to there’s not much difference in smoking .5g or a medium dab.

The typical time for weed to clear your system is 30-45 days. If you’re a heavy smoker it may take longer. And if you pee too clear they can request that you re-do the test- personal experience and I don’t use weed just drink a lot of water.

Youre probably fucked bro. You cant flush thc metabolites out of your system with water. If youre super thin and in great shape you maybe fine. If you drank like 12oz of water every 15 min for 2 hours before the test till you were pissing like every 20 min you make come up "negative dilute"

Not really. Especially if OP is only having a joint or two. People that use run into problems when they're facing blunts on the daily or having more than a gram or two weekly. The old adage that says it stays in your system for 30 days comes from a study where the subjects were using large amounts daily.
