can someone tell me whats wrong with my ebike’s battery please? i know its not supposed to look like that and it says it’s charged on the lcd display but the bike turned off after i rode it this morning. it is a Wooken 2023 fat tire model

Check the battery with a voltmeter. An hour and a half of riding could deplete the battery depending on how much assist you are using. If it reads somewhere around 40 volts it's depleted. Inability to hold charge is a sign of a battery that is cooked. Fully charged a 48 colt battery should read about 54 volts. You may have the option in your display to monitor voltage rather than percent capacity remaining. The latter can be inaccurate.

i bought it from someone on facebook marketplace and i rode it for an hour and a half then didnt ride it again until this morning because it still said it was at least 90% charged but it turned off within a couple minutes but i also didnt think the battery percentage displayed was accurate so im sure this may be part of that problem

sounds like there are bad cells in the battery and voltage sag is tripping bms shut off. buy new battery.
