- MSI MAG X870 TOMAHAWK WIFI
- ASUS ROG STRIX X870-F GAMING
WIFI
- MSI PRO X870-P WIFI
- Gigabyte X870E AORUS ELITE WIFI7
- MSI PRO X870E-P WIFI
Any help would be appreciated.

MSI MAG X870 TOMAHAWK and Go X870E AORUS ELITE WIFI7 are the options available that provide good VRM, lanes, and future proofing with 9950X3D + 5080 without ROG premium. Strix is nice but it is overrated for its cost.

These are all really solid choices for sure if Lanes are a priority along with USB then one of the X870E boards is the best option of these I would go with the Gigabyte X870E AORUS ELITE WIFI7 as it is just really nice with a ton of IO and gets the full lane support with the E chipset, plus it looks nice though it doesn't have RGB if that bums u out lol.

I have two builds One = Z790-E and the other in process is a X870-F. One is intel the other amd. I think I choose the right one for a 9930X3D.

I notice some boards have Wifi7, They use WiFi 7 MT7925 M.2, Which is £30ish and can also be bought with antennas.

I have that CPU and an RTX 4090. I went with the MSI MPG X870E Carbon. Honestly, if a mobo has the ports and slots that fit your needs, most will probably be just as good for your needs as the other. I made my choice because it fitted the above criteria, it was within my budget, I liked the aesthetic, and I've used msi products in the past and never had issues with them. That's just me though

If they all offer you the connectivity you need, then they'll all work the same for you.
Personally I would go with B850 because there is nothing X870 offers additionally that I would benefit from, so I wouldn't want to pay for said additions.

What about the X870e

If X870 is 1 step beyond what is logical for me to personally buy, X870E would be 2 steps beyond what is logical.
The difference between chipsets is connectivity.

The vast majority of users will find no benefit with the additional connectivity that top end chipsets offer. If you have components or uses for them, then it would certainly be more logical to you than it would be to me.
