Spirit Application Changed to hidden?

As the title says, on 4/11 my Spirit application changed from “under review” to “hidden”. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Any idea what it could mean?

Mine was also set to hidden, then they sent out an interview invite? I have no clue anymore.

Replying to this post, I was invited to the interview on the 30th of this month. Anyone else get that?

You’re going from gaining turbine time to a possible liquidating company with 2-3 months of zero flight time in training and then months of reserve. How much are you flying per month right now? Are you banking on the furlough helping your chances at a legacy? Hoping the airbus type opens up doors? Hoping for an acquisition? Checking the 121 box? I am struggling to see the logic. It might make sense but this might be a huge step backwards.
Your hours aren’t bad. You have a path to better in front of you. I guess it comes down to choices, family, driving to work, … it’s a heavy decision. I wish you well either way.

For me the reason is that I need 121 time to move to a major. I could do it with just the 135 time but it’ll take me forever to get to a major at the rate I’m building time. I figure with spirit even by doing a ~year I will build more time and experience than I am currently at this 135 job. Can’t speak for OP but that’s where I stand atleast and why I’m willing to go there. Similar stats

Can’t get a job anywhere else with those times? Shits fucked then

And someone just left my regional right seat to a legacy right seat.. lol.

As a regional right seater with a legacy interview next month, is there something wrong with that?

TPIC or prior .mil?
justcallme3nder@reddit
I felt like I had a fairly strong application for one that fell into the category of no 121 PIC. I had a small handful (less than 10) hours of TPIC from flying around with a friend in a TP that he flew for work, but aside from that I had 1100 121 SIC, 2600TT, a BS with a decent GPA, prior mil enlisted aircrew and no checkride fails. But I think a big difference maker was my LoRs, I had 5 internal; one from a base lead LCA, 2 from former instructors, one from my former assistant chief, and one from an immediate family member that was already at the company.

Def makes, love the enlisted aircrew especially, yall are always awesome to fly with. I was asking because hearing the rhetoric from airline recruiters about what they are looking for they always mention TPIC. So always wondering what triggers an interview when low / no TPIC. I’ve had a few FOs recently I’ve flown with low / no TPIC, but mil aircrew, all solid dudes
justcallme3nder@reddit
That's kind of you. I look back at my aircrew days fondly, and the experience I can draw on has been a big help in my pilot career.

Thats awesome

Lack of TPIC
Used_Shower3984@reddit
He asked if there was anything wrong with that..... Aside from you being jealous there isn't any issue with getting to a legacy with no TPIC if the rest of your resume is stellar.
Ok_Excitement725@reddit
I wouldn’t do it unless I had a backup plan for unemployment with the direction the economy and fuel is headed. Supply shock hasn’t even hit, most forecasters seem to think around May is when supply shock will hit hard and things will really get funky.

There’s probably more to that story if they’re not getting bites elsewhere, but there’s an outside chance it’s just the low TT.

Spirit is hiring pilots right now!?
Urrolnis@reddit
Furlough until you hire, hire until you furlough.
Spiritual_Ad5511@reddit
If i recall correctly (this was 4 years ago), that still means its being looked at. If you don't hear from them within a couple weeks I'd proactively reach out to HR.
dopexile@reddit
Probably to get it off HR's screen because they have thousands of resumes and not enough jobs.

My guess is in their end it was already reviewed and sent to a “hidden” pile in their end.
Wether that means a yes or no I have no idea, I’d imagine they would want 121 time, but I don’t really see a regional worth leaving for to go to Spirit at the moment except for dire circumstances.
navigate2me@reddit
Same boat applying to spirit. Anything to get into 121 At this point lol. But I am lower time than you. Still shows under review for me
