Trumps mandate runs out on the 29th. He still has a few weeks to commit as many war crimes as he can think of. I think after that he will try to create a new separate operation to break the war powers act. Maybe Congress will go for it, probably not. There will be some false flag that he'll try to justify it with. I don't think Congress will let him destroy the US to please another country. He'll ignore them until the Courts force the issue, or Congress tears up his check book.

I'm wondering whether Iran will let USrael have the first shot again.

No doubt they know they're about to get hit. On the one hand, the strategically wise thing to do is hit first and neuter threats within range (it's indisputable at this point that USrael is planning something).

On the other hand, I assume they are getting unfathomable amount of soft power and credibility from sticking to their beliefs, such as "starting a war is bad". Needless to say the global south probably has more respect for Iran than the US (by far) at this point.
