This is only my second post ever so lmk if this is the wrong place to ask this. I was mooking for either a 1000w or 2000w mid drive kit and the only ones ive seen have had a lot of mixed opinions so if you know about good kit feel free to comment.

CYC is supposed to be pretty high quality from what I've heard. The torque sensing pedal assist is a big selling point. I've done two Bafang BBSHD builds and both have been flawless. The cadence sensor pedal assist isn't as good as torque sensing, but I'm fine with it and the motor reliability has been fantastic. I'm 300lbs and it has no problem hauling my fat ass up the steepest hills I can find.

Whats the top speed youve hit? And did you get the 750w or 1000w

It's 1500w, I'm running it at 52v with a 46 tooth Lekkie Bling Ring. Top speed with pedaling on flats is mid 30s, low 30s throttle only. I'm a heavy guy, so the extra power is nice for acceleration and hill climbing. Even with the 46t sprocket, it has no problem getting my 300lb ass up steep trails.

Toseven has some nice motors with torque sensing. Johhny Nerdout is a good source. Tonshengs and Bafang are nice.
CYC is a very nice motor.

I got everything for my current build from Johnny. His shop is about 20 minutes from me. He's an awesome guy and is very knowledgeable.
