"What if we made a motorcycle where every failure mode —be it electronic, electrical, mechanical, driver error, road state, or unexpected impacts— means you faceplant into the road at highway speeds?" - Someone, apparently
They've been over engineered in recent years. If the hall sensor fails, the new ones won't faceplant, and allow you to stop to address the failure. The batteries and bodies are being made full IP67/68 against weather and some are even potted for extra pierce damage protection. The suspension on the more expensive ones will take a massive rock at these speeds and you will stay upright, not unlike a dirt bike.
It's a lot safer than used to be! That's got to count for something, especially for those who've been wheelin' since the early days when you could sneeze and overpower the motor.
I have this crazy idea. What if they invented a handle, where you could place your arms, maybe some kind of structure in front, with a wheel possibly, with some suspension? Nah, the idea is too crazy
If you lengthen both axles and put wheels on both ends, you won’t worry about tipping over anymore! And we could put like a protective cage around the driver and add more seats for more passengers! Then we’ll put a shell over the frame with panels that crush and absorb energy in an impact. Then, for everyone’s comfort and enjoyment, we can put in climate control, cup holders, and a stereo system!
Nah it’d never catch on. All that material would be super expensive!
If you are going to do this with a one wheel, dress like Gizmoduck. Nobody will know who you are, you'll give people a chuckle as they see you wiz bye, and you'll have just a little extra armor and padding to absorb the eventual impact. Oh, and it's an excuse to yell blathering batherskite when it goes wrong.
Thats what i think of because if you hit something then your dead but flying off that thing and surviving nit bashing your head is gonna be painful i would think

But yes, generally speaking, death awaits.

No no no, we could take this a step further!

Flailing arms and pantomiming jerking off someone (1:06) is part of this experience. Handle bars would ruin it.

Had to Google it, but that sounds hilarious. Imagine this mf pulling up to your window at 70mph on the motorway.

In the Dutch dub, he was called Turbo McQueck.
Ypocras@reddit
Not true, Turbo McKwek is Launchpad McQuack in Ducktales. In Darkwing Duck Turbo appeared as well, but Gizmoduck is called Roboduck in the Dutch dub.

I stand corrected.
