Hey, all i'm the owner of the car in the picture. I lifted it with c x five suspension parts

What year? Any fab work or all bolted in?

Struts springs and shocks. Everything bolted up. I went with 2015 since that's what year my car is

So as I was so inspired by seeing this, I actually went through with it on my 2016 iSport 6spd manual about 4-5 weeks ago… First thoughts, wow, I’m sitting up way higher and I’m so happy I’m not gritting teeth to avoid scraping my bumper out of driveways anymore 😅 Second thoughts, very twitchy due to positive camber on the front by a lot (got it aligned at Firestone and they did fuck all for the camber) Third thoughts after having driving it for this long, kinda nice, but I’ve run into some issues and would like some advice or feedback on your own experience I was curious if you ran into issues with your 3’s sway links or cv axles not liking the lift? I’m a manual trans so maybe that’s the cv axles explained? Idk, but the bottom heads of my front sway links are blown, my front camber is horrendous at +2.5DS and +1.7PS 😭 My DS cv axle is starting to click at higher torque in 2nd gear, which is crazy because I just replaced both cv axles just shy of a year ago… not sure what’s going on there but moving on. I don’t wanna have to buy the cork sport camber plates at $359 so I was wondering if you also did cx-5 control arms and if the cx-5 control arms would help push the bottom of the wheels out instead of pulling the tops inward towards the car… thoughts? Idk, any insight would be super helpful 😂

We did the alignment as best as we could but I have not changed anything to get it properly dialed in.

I see, you’re ballsy for running no sway bar on lifted fwd so props lmao. I have some cx-5 LCA’s sitting in my garage right now that I’ve been waiting to throw in, maybe they’ll push the bottom of the tires out vs pulling the top of the tire in with the camber plates, and I’m thinking cx-5 axles might help the clicking problem since they’ll be longer and thus not get pulled out? Or maybe the camber is what is pulling them out? Not sure. But I’m gonna try the LCA route first and I’ll report back haha.

Hey, I just did the CX-5 suspension lift on my ’18 3. Saw you mentioned trying CX-5 lower control arms… did that end up helping the geometry issue?

Any update on this?
