C-Redd-it@reddit
Can we stop calling them "the ruling class" and start calling them the Epstein class?
PorcelainFD@reddit
Predator Class
C-Redd-it@reddit
This is probably better.
PorcelainFD@reddit
I like it because *all* of their behavior is predatory, not just the rape stuff.
C-Redd-it@reddit
It really is more fitting.

C-Redd-it@reddit
Calling this a "wave" to try and thwart and actual wave?
profmathers@reddit
Okay I’m here for eating the rich. But half a billion dollars worth of toilet paper?!
SupportLocalShart@reddit
I think that was the street value
psychotronic_mess@reddit
Plus you know it’s been stepped on with newspaper and leaves by the time it hits the street.
C-Redd-it@reddit
😆 "stepped on" 🤣
Darkest_Elemental@reddit
history doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes
C-Redd-it@reddit
50 years later and more relevant than ever.
chimpaman@reddit
Parasite class is the proper nomenclature
forchinski@reddit
There is nothing elite about the elites, and no leadership is on display among our representatives.
It is an entire class constructed of grifters and parasites. The most ruthless and willing to worm their way into an exploitative position.

Is not a wave.
Yet.
Slumunistmanifisto@reddit
They'll see even an accident as a nuclear aggression while laying off a long-term employee with cancer and stealing their severance.
marion85@reddit
Yup. Just a few sparks that aren't even CLOSE to matching the level of outrage that they should be feeling at this point.
Slamtilt_Windmills@reddit
Gotta pump those numbers up.
Sciencebitchs@reddit
Can't. Gas is to expensive at the pump 😫
foodman5555@reddit
thanks for your response. I’m pretty sure I know exactly what the delete comment said.

A fire rises
maxxlion1@reddit
I do fear what will happen once bread and circus run out.
Known_Leek8997@reddit
The circus will never end, but the bread is already running out.
MaestroLogical@reddit
It is more likely that the price of circus tickets will increase to such a point that it might as well 'end'.
Doesn't matter what distractions Netflix/HBO etc have on offer, if the sub price is $75 a month.
Known_Leek8997@reddit
Fair, but there will always be the free stuff like 24 hour news and the flooding of the zone.
StatisticianThin288@reddit
i honestly hate the term "bread and circus", but it is fitting
what will happen is that people will finally rise
Chirotera@reddit
So long as food and entertainment remained relatively cheap, people made due. Now, food costs are skyrocketing and we can't afford escapism.
In my opinion, we're not nearly angry enough.
Creepyfaction@reddit (OP)
Without the input of the War with Iran, things would've played out as a slow burn. But with the war, it's a fast burn.
One-Environment-1444@reddit
It’s a trickle. Let’s see where it goes.
Pointing out that the ever increasing societal wealth imbalance leads to societal implosion just doesn’t seem to be making a dent in getting these ultra rich and all the businesses they own to stop trying to squeeze blood from us all and pay us a decent and fair wage with decent and fair benefits and healthcare.
EbonyPeat@reddit
Wow, well said.
sp0rkify@reddit
Time for a soundtrack!
Please enjoy my 41h 4m playlist entitled "vive la révolution!" - great for helping you get mad at the current state of the world.. or angry cleaning your house! The perfect soundtrack for the inevitable revolution..
(I'm sorry it's on Spotify.. yes, I suck.. but, I still haven't found an alternative where I can find at least 75% of my 20,000 liked songs.. and sailing the high seas is slow going.. I'm working on it!)
Anyways, enjoy, kids!
Chainsawferret@reddit
Oh No!
Anyway,

Working people have nothing to lose, no homes or children…it could get bad for the wealthy without bunkers.
Awkward_Potential_@reddit
If you're in a bunker you're basically just cornered.
The_Phantom_Cat@reddit
i think this song is quite relevant here
theStaircaseProject@reddit
Once the bunkers are located, but I don’t know there are too many maps of them much less “Thatta Way” signs with giant arrows.
MissMenace101@reddit
The bunkers are in the southern hemisphere…. For when the nukes fall
CerddwrRhyddid@reddit
They'll need staff. That would be the way in.
Individual-Engine401@reddit
That is what the concentration camps are for, or I mean detention centers

"Now people are breaking. In the past week alone folks have shot at the home of a city councilor who voted for a data center, thrown a molotov at the residence of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, and burned down a warehouse that contained $500 million worth of toilet paper, reportedly. Multiple other warehouse and industrial fires have taken place over the last few days. What not long ago seemed like an exceedingly rare act, the isolated, class-motivated attack, symbolized for the last year by Luigi Mangione, suddenly appears much more common.
What’s happening right now is that a vague sense of dissatisfaction, a simmering anger at a declining quality of life, is morphing into class politics for millions of Americans. Big Tech and Donald Trump are providing people with clear enemies, clarifying raw anger and dissatisfaction into a clearer picture of a ruling class that is out to exploit us and which must be defeated. A broad cross-section of the disaffected have been pushed to a breaking point, and while a few are lashing out with acts of violence, millions more are ready for revolutionary change."
In the past few days, there's been an uptick of arson and attacks targeting the ruling class or corporations. Perhaps the dissatisfaction that has been brewing for a while now may erupt into something with potential. The War in the Middle East is sharply driving up the cost of living and has made the status quo untenable and as it goes, the center cannot hold. The insistence on austerity by the regime does not help and dismantling the guard rails, it is unlikely that it can weather the storm that is brewing in which it help create.

The lack of sources on the other fires, while the other incidents have sources makes me thinks I smell sensationalism.
