Just finished my first engine rebuild with fully forged internals and upgraded valves. The block should be capable of holding up to 600 HP. Currently preparing for a full subframe-off underbody refresh with new bushings, control arms, and quite a few other bits. After that, beefier brakes and eventually a bigger turbo to actually take advantage of the upgraded internals.

I'm not going to be making anywhere near 600, probably closer to 350 or 400, since anything more wouldn't spool til pretty late into the RPMs. For my use case, the transmission really only needs a support bracket for 4th and some new shift forks. And since the TT uses a front-biased Haldex system instead of a "true" AWD Quattro system, there isn't much risk of damaging anything there. They don't see that much torque outside of hard launches, and from what I've read, they're shockingly robust up to the mid-500's.

Fully built K24A2 block with a K20 head, ported oil pump, Drag Cartel 3.2 cams with an aggressive valve train, etc, specifically set up for high rpm redline. The full crank and piston assembly has been micro-balanced to 14k rpm, but without a full dry sump setup, I'm planning to limit it to 11k rpm redline. It's a 12.5:1 CR since I'm running naturally aspirated for now. I did all the engine assembly myself and then threw it in my custom wide-bodied BRZ with the KPower Industries swap kit run by the Haltech Elite 1500 standalone ECU. It's been just over 3 years but I'm just finishing the engine break in period. 🤞🤞🤞 I have to get the tune refined a bit, its running really rich currently, but then it'll be time to actually send it! 🤘😎

Frame off resto of a ‘79 F-150. It’s getting a Coyote swap from a 2011 Mustang GT that I built & eventually sold. The new owner totaled it 3 months later and I bought the powerplant back.

I’ve had the truck since 1995 and my great aunt bought it brand new in October of ‘78.
