Any adult ADHD psychiatrists or evaluators near Downtown Dallas?

Trying to find any adult ADHD psychiatrists or evaluators who can also prescribe medication. Looking for recommendations around the Downtown Dallas area.
Please help, I'm about to lose my job because of my focus issues. I went to Salience Health but they're so booked, my follow-up appointment with actual "diagnosing" is in May. Any other recommendations?

yeah for downtown Dallas I would separate two things, getting evaluated properly and finding someone who can handle med management without making it feel like a refill mill.
Legion Health could be worth comparing since they work in Texas psychiatry, but I would still ask very directly about adult ADHD evaluations, controlled medication policies, insurance, and follow up timing. the job pressure makes speed matter, but you still want someone careful here.

Dr. Jill Bracken sees patients virtually or (I believe) at her office in Garland, depending on your preference. She’s the one who diagnosed me as an adult.

She's the worst. She's rude, impatient, and condescending, but she's easy to get into, and fast because she doesn't do any testing or interviews and will prescribe. Just forget having someone to listen and follow up with. Probably a good choice in an emergency, but you'll want to follow up with someone legit.
Also forget Salience. They aren't any better but charge about 3x as much.

I’m sorry you had that experience. And I genuinely think OP should consider your experience, but I wanted to share mine: I’ve always found her to be very pleasant and diligent in answering my questions. (I also had to complete a fairly thorough intake form before my appointment.)

Hey, did you have to complete any testing to get your diagnosis with Dr. Bracken?

Just the intake form and an interview (so just like any other psychiatrist I’ve had).

I would also recommend Dr. Bracken

Dr Vladislav Yeganov. He is the only doctor I have found who isn’t afraid to prescribe what you need

THANK YOU! I saw your comment the other day and made an appointment for yesterday. Dr. Yeganov was great at educating me and I’ve been taking Adderall for 16 years. I feel like a million bucks today!

he pretty much saved my life

I know you said near Downtown, but Lifestance is located around the metro area. I see Dr. Danielle Maskell, all you have to do is see her one time in person and the rest is online.

I see Dr. Spence at LifeStance. I see him virtually and he’s attentive.

If I looked up the same Danielle Maskell, she’s a nurse practitioner, not a physician. Just clarifying because some patients may want to see an MD or DO.

You're right, she sends the prescription to a Dr. when it comes to controlled prescriptions. I recommend her though because she has ADHD herself, she makes you feel like she's a therapist tbh.

I go to Salience Health which is off 75 and Knox. They have been a good group. Easy to reach by phone, resonsive on refills, clearly go through everything.

Dr Zishan Khan Telehealth available

Uptown: Thorntree Psychiatric on Oaklawn (cross-street at Lemmon). They’ve got a lot of psychiatrists and they all take different insurance, so just see who’s on yours. If you’re going cash pay, I personally see Dr. Siddiqui, and she handles my ADHD meds.

Hi! I specialize in neuro-affirming and trauma-informed diagnostic evaluations. I can’t prescribe meds, but I usually recommend Dr. Ethan Hinds, Dr. Damilola Salako, or Dr. Jyotsna Muttineni for meds.
Out of these three, Dr. M is probably your best bet. She’s at Hillcrest and 635 and loves working with clients with ADHD.

Live in Dallas but my psych is based in Plano. I do tele health. PMA of Plano. Interesting I just googled to confirm their practice name and their Google reviews are 3.3. I’ve been with them since 2018 and had only positive experiences, but apparently not everyone feels the same.
