Currently road tripping from east to west, I’m a UK tourist, can we discuss observations and cultural differences?

I love Americans! You guys are damn friendly!

My favourite cultural differences:

Free refills? This still blowing my mind. I’ve paid $3 for a coffee and currently on my third one. In the UK you’ll pay £3.50, and you’d have to buy a second one. Any Americans ever asked for a free refill in the UK? You’d probably get laughed at (just a heads up!).

It’s interesting, Americans do not get a good wrap in the UK unfortunately. It’s partly because we see all of your worst news. I came to America expecting a war zone, but of course everyone is just living life. Addressing stereotypes: You guys aren’t rude, just direct! You are loud tho haha!

I want to write more but this community has a post length limit. Guess we’ll discuss in the comments?
